After a startlingly exciting first round of submissions and initial voting, we come to the even more startlingly exciting second round of voting. There was a clear winner in the first round but apparently we still have to have a second vote. I will leave it to the public to decide. If the public don't get it right then No Chance Rules do apply in this game. For those who have the brain of an amoeba (no not an Ameobi) the rules are as follows: 1. You only have one vote. 2. You can vote for yourself. 3. You are voting for the BEST headline. 4. On this occasion you can change your vote. 4. If there is a tie I have the deciding vote against which there is no appeal or whining. My decision is based on all relevant factors that I think are relevant. May the second best headline win. Well mine was obviously the best!!!
Well what excitement we have all had in this Headline Game. Chippy and Bisc totally shunned by the voting public. It really is a sad state of affairs if only you vote for your own entry. I'm sure Bisc will get over this extreme embarrassment eventually and won't put him off submitting future pitiful entries. Also I suppose this answers Bisc's point Best wait for the result in future Bisc. Chippy on the other hand doesn't know the meaning of the word "embarrassment" but then again that's not the only word he doesn't know the meaning of. That leaves us with No Chance and White Day competing for the title for this week. White Day has the most votes but one has to question some of those who have voted for him. To be eligible to vote a person has to have mental capacity. Obi has unfortunately exceeded his (limited) mental capacity and we are always concerned as to what Mitro brings to the table...literally. White Day then also has theImperial Swine voting for him who no doubt is happy making snide comments in the background which can only detract from the reliability of his vote. Other than White Day who somewhat conveniently is voting for himself ( I mean who does that ?) his only other voter claims to be "clearly deluded". It is with regret that we find this leaves White Day with no votes. Does No Chance therefore win? Sadly not. Again we have No Chance voting for himself. Hardly suggesting a "Man of Honour".He does recover some esteem in having the likes of Sebb and HDQ and the Tackle that is Beardsley's voting for him but I get a feel of pity for the rather generic entry was perhaps the main reasons behind those votes. It is therefore with great surprise that I now announce that the winner of the Liverpool Headline Game is
Well with that attitude it's not surprising Liverpool have never won the Premier League or the Inter Cities Fairs Cup!!
So am I to presume that since the winner is "What Hurts The Most" that JPF won? He certainly made my eyes water!!!
