Interestingly, the German media are now backing up what was said in Spanish publications on Wednesday - that is that Pep Guardiola will tell Bayern Munich he wants to leave the club. The Spaniard's contract expires in June and he has said he will clear up his future this side of Christmas. German daily Bild says he informed the club he intends to leave "last week", adding "everything points to his leaving." In UK papers on Thursday, Guardiola was linked with Manchester City and Chelsea. Should we be going in for Guardiola? Do we have a chance? I think we have the money and resources to be able to bring him in, but I doubt the management would sanction it. We missed out on Klopp and now he is available. What's your views guys?
I can't see how anyone can disagree with this statement. I think Pep is a great manager but the Bayern of now is nowhere near as great and as exciting as the 12/13 treble winning side.
It's not about whether he's better than Heynckes, but whether he is better than our current manager Wenger. So does anyone here think that Guardiola isn't better than Wenger?
There could be a merry go round with the events concerning Mourinho today. Some reports are saying that Utd will move for either Pep or Mourinho.
I don't know what all the fuss was about with Dolly the cloned sheep. You depraved ****ers have been putting your DNA into sheep for years
Serious question (which I have asked on our board), what makes any of you feel confident that Pep could build/sustain a team?
It depends on your definition of building/sustaining a team. Most managers have done that but it depends on different levels of success. The most successful manager to have built a team from scratch and maintain it is Fergie, but he's the only manager to make it into a title winning team. But Pep isn't being brought into to do that, he's there to win the league and at any top club, he'll be able to do that.
