That's hardly a choice. I'd rather UIR was managing United than LVG. That's how fcking dire that quiff head is!

Tbh there has to be more out there than subscribing to the usual merry go round of "galacticos" managers.

I think Klopp must be regretting not waiting. I'm wondering whether Joachim Low or De Boer wouldnt be just as worthy as Pep or Jose.

The trouble he'd cause, the long term damage to the club and the disrepute he'd bring IS WORTH ALL THE SHORT TERM SUCCESS!!! :) :) :)

Plus, I don't see the argument for this so called "long term damage". Chelsea recovered well after his first stint and will recover again after this one.

Oh yeah, BBC actually gave him 7/10 to join United at the end of season.

He built us a spine that carried on winning trophies for years 2007-12.
Hopefully Courtois-Zouma-Matic-Costas will win half as many.

2 years ago Jose would have been my choice. Now I'm not sure if he has what it takes anymore. His last two jobs have ended badly, for him. Yes he had some success but couldn't maintain it.

Would be interesting to see what Mourinho achieved at a club which is actually set up with a long term outlook. For all the chat of having a ten year legacy at Chelsea, he was always under pressure to deliver immediate success, and hence wasted money on one trick ponies and high priced water carriers like Costa and Pedro instead of building for the long term.

With freedom to choose his own transfer targets and build a team without having to win the league or be sacked, he might actually be able to build something decent and sustainable. But equally he might flop as badly as he just has done.

Btw, has Mourinho now added the record of being the first manager to be sacked twice by the same top flight club to the record of worst English title defence ever?

Yeah, I'm sure the Glazers would never dream of doing something so........<sigh> Mourinho it is then.

The residents of the Hills Have Eyes are capable of anything. Although tbf they tend not to meddle in the football side of things and respect the judgement of the board. As long as the club is printing money they seem to be happy.

That's because they are the board. We have a board of 12, of which six are the Glazer siblings. And the only executive directors are two Glazers and Woodward. So basically they don't need to meddle in the football side of things, as they have overall control over the football side of things.

To be honest I'd rather Alan pardew manage our club than the current moronic incumbent. So anything would be progress. I don't see mourinho as short term. I don't think he has had the chance to stay put somewhere. He brought success to Milan and was then duped as any manager would to real.

I rate Pardew. Good manager, gets his teams playing good attacking football. Apparently he's a bit of a tool though.

    I don't dislike pardew.

I just want LVG to **** off.

I'm thinking my favourite choice at the moment would be ancellotti. Though I'm guessing he may end up at Bayern. Pep I have a feeling may just be a twat and follow the money to city.

Truth be told I don't reckon we will get rid of the ****. I honestly think we are stuck with this **** for another couple of seasons. Then all the good managers currently available won't be and we will end up with either Giggs which I think will be a disaster.

I think LVG will see out his contract and the best we can hope for is top 4. I do have concerns that we won't achieve that this season unless he stops trying to sneak games 0-0. Obviously I don't mean it literally (and I should probably stress that in bold, italics, underlined, huge ****ing red letters etc) but at times a draw is as bad as a defeat.
