I have a wry smile but I'm with you.

Supposedly the best manager in the world... Can't wait to hear his endless excuses about what went wrong because one thing is for certain, it won't be his fault <doh>

I suppose it was a real test of a coach right there but in the end its the standard approach from all clubs isn't it. Any struggle = assume players won't try for the guy in and then replace and let someone else sell them.

It'd have been interesting to see if someone said hey you fix it. sell them all whatever it takes

    However....

    1. mourinho sexual harassment suit
    2. constant griping and anti fa/ref attacks means he's on thin ice constantly
    3. acted all over the place up and down moods... very much moody and anti press now

Add those up and you could have no confidence in him. It has to put a serious blot on his reputation as a world class coach.

Dare I say it but will we ever see another wenger never mind a ferguson again?

Well I appreciate that it's all about results, and had Chelsea still been in the top four it wouldn't have happened, but he deserves it for his bone-headed arrogance over the Eva business. Not so much for losing his rag when she (CORRECTLY) treated an injured player, but for the continued defence and even justification of her treatment on the basis that she was 'naive'. Utterly staggering.

Look, we have an emotional manager. He'll make mistakes. But how on earth can anyone get that 'special' that they are above any criticism or, indeed, a gentle climb down?

Besides which, he take his ****ing bus with him to Madrid, where he'll doubtlessly run over Rafa.

I agree. he acted very very poorly there.

he also acted very very poorly with the FA and press and invented a grand conspiracy as he couldn't handle the fact he ****ed it up with the players themselves.

Anyway, has Pep been lined up now or at the end of the season? Looking back, why did they sack Ancelloti?

Finally, I didn't appreciate it at the time, as I said we should have waited till Christmas, but no argument now that JH was right to axe Brendan whilst Klopp was still available.

Beloved manager sacked twice from the club <laugh>

Who's gonna take a pop with Mourinho next, given that he'll only move to a big money club? Surely not Madrid...

I'd assume PSG. Not sure Bayern would be interested.

As for Chelsea, who the hell would want to manage them except as a very well paid interim job?

Really don't know why... that was the worst decision.

I thought at the time mourinho anted out when he left frist but the avrim stuff was stupid and anchelotti won the double it was mad to sack him. he was sacking in 2nd place so i think at the time RA might have been thinking he bought torres and this guy was not using him right or something.

Crying shame, but I can't see us getting fourth. I can see Chelsea pulling off a miracle CL win and 10th place though. Uniturd 4th in that scenario, I hope (and we win the EL?).

PSG might. Utd might. Real might... I think he'll have plenty of offers but is best staying away from england now. he's burned every bridge here.

PSG are a win the CL club. no matter how unrealistic that might be (though they are QF team)

Can't see CL myself. Hiddink won't get 11 men behind the ball and play pens.. i cannot see it.

I think they will toddle along and go out of CL to PSG. and if not that get mullered in the QF.

the real question is will the players not better now suddenly start working.. matic, fabregas, hazard, etc.

Can't see Madrid taking him back. He infuriated the board whilst he was there and results started to dip

Uniturd. A match made in Hades. He's always wanted to manage them, they now play his football. Fergie seemed to move heaven and earth to stop it being his legacy, but it's looking inevitable.

Hiddink's the only manager they haven't had a bad break-up with and/or who's currently not tied dan to a club/available that they'd possibly consider

Plus he has used them as a temporary cash-cow before so why not again ?! Any future manager would be wise to follow his example, as a club they're just good to make fast money, that's all

Could see Mo having a little spell in Russia at one of the wealthy clubs over there then coming back to PL, BL or LL, or PSG in France

LVG has prepared the ground fro the negative system. It seems utd won't score any more but will concede more when he takes over.

Could it be that the competitiveness of the prem is what got to jose? he could not walk it so he's lost the plot... At utd its still be too competitive for his style of having 14 players to pick from.
