I thought Clegg did the right thing tbh, formed a coalition with the party with most votes. Whilst it was perceived as a massive betrayal by lib dem supporters and a chance at grabbing some power rather than standing by principles, the lib dems actually did a good job of keeping the Tories in check, they stopped them putting through all kinds of legislation (such as the snoopers charter), helped push economic policy for those less well off (raised tax threshold) and in general acted as a dampener on Tory policy. I actually think it worked quite well. Naturally though, for there efforts, the voters responded by decimating the party at the next general election <laugh>

If they'd have not made the pact, then there'd have been nothing to keep in check though, as there'd have probably had to be a re-election, or some form of consensus Govt.

Clegg went for HIS 15 minutes and betrayed his own voters in the process, the man's a gold plated **** <ok>

The Tories would just have formed a minority government, they'd made it clear they would attempt to form a government either way. It would just have meant five years of things being difficult to implement and the country finding it more difficult to recover. Thanks that man Clegg for doing the right thing tbh.

    Benjamin Netanyahu.

    Also racist, xenophobic, militant.

Robert Mugabe (deserves so much worse than a punch).

Putin evil tyrant who steered Russia away from democracy and a potentially benign future back to being a pariah state.

Erdogan. I love he stood up to Russia and shot down that plane but he's been erroding civil liberties and democracy in Turkey (formerly the only non pariah democracy in the Middle East neighbourhood).

I don't hear enough about Boris to want to punch him. What I do hear is more about buffoonery rather than him being particularly evil. I can't judge his qualifications or effectiveness. He seems entertaining at least.

Nope. It would have forced them to water down their ideas and achieve genuine consensus, it could have been a very interesting parliament.

They wouldn't neccessarily have watered down there ideas anymore than the lib deems made them, they'd just hope enough of the blairites left at labour would back there ideas. Given labours strategy prior to the election was to admit failing to handle the economy properly and say they would make huge cuts too, I'd imagine it wouldn't have been particularly hard to get there budget through and then work on a case by case basis, but it would make everything much slower with more chance of things failing to happen. It could well have resulted in certain policies being watered down, but in a publicaly ****ty, slow, inefficient way rather than the lib Dems getting into bed with them and whispering nicely in there ear to water there policies down.

The uncertainty created by a minority government wouldn't have been good for the economy at a time when we needed to show confidence, the lib Dems allowed us to create a strong government while trying to stop the Tories putting through all there ideas behind closed doors.

Oh and I thought it was quite an interesting government! It's just a shame at the last election that parties like the lib Dems, greens and UKIP failed to get more seats away from the major two parties. Had the lib dem voters stuck with the lib Dems we may well not have had a Tory majority this time around.

Dear God how to narrow it down
    Gideon - for obvious reasons
IDS - due to his constant attacks on disabled people - no surprise due to rhetoric that there has been a huge rise in hate crimes against disabled people
Cameron - jeez that smug lazy chinless twat has one of those faces you just would keep punching all day long.
Farage - a tin pot would be Hitler

    Boris plays the amiable buffoon.
So which is worse to have in power- a buffoon, or someone who pretends to be one but is actually cold and calculating?
Neither should be let out of the house, imo.
