    I'll start us rolling.

    Brad

    Rosenior Chester Gerrard Dawson

    Belaid Koren Harper Simpson

    Fryatt Stewart

I know people will disagree with Harper in the middle but we have to bare in mind that A) he has been involved in all of our so far successful fun we also need someone to mark Taarbat out of the game and B) he is Pearsons bum boy so won’t get dropped.

The second decision is Simpson on the wing, I wanted Stewart up top as I feel this is where he is most effective. This is also an interchangeable decision which can be change on how the game works out. The reason Simpson is on the wing is A) he is faster than Mclean and if he cant get up for it against his old club then he never will, and he only deals in 2’s :)

Also people should be very positive about Saturday- QPR have been poor on the road recently, i believe that the worst we will end up getting is a point.

I've not seen Mclean play but I find this hard to believe. I can't see Simpson as a winger myself, perhaps a wide forward at a push.

NPs already said Belaid wont start.

    Same team as always, unfortunately, I guess;

    Guzan
    Rosenior Chester Gerrard Dawson
    Koren Harper Ashbee Stewart
    Fryatt McLean

    I would rather see

    Guzan
    Rosenior Chester Gerrard Dawson
    Koren Ashbee Evans
    Devitt Fryatt Stewart

The Drama Queens are good going forward but not that clever at the back so we need to go out there with enough creativity to get a couple of goals and not look for a cheeky 1-0 win

I think it will probably be:

    ------------Guzan

    Macca Chester Gerrard Rosenior

    Koren Ash Harper Stewart

    -------Fryatt Mclean

That's based on the fact that Dawson is probably out and Solano hasn't trained all week.

Personally, I'd rather we went with:

    ------------Guzan

    Macca Chester Gerrard Rosenior

    Evans Koren Ash Devitt

    -------Fryatt Stewart

That's bad news if Dawson is out.

That is really the only negative of this Transfer window. We've bulked up in so many areas, but our defence is not looking like it can take much damage.

I'd agree with your second team OLM - though despite not being at his best, if he is fit, I'd rather have Daws than the Ninja in the team.

OLM 2nd team as will help to keep Routeledge and Traarabt quiet.Ash and Harper when together they back up on to the back four too easily allowing the through ball played to simply beating our defence.

As others have alluded to, I'd suggest the main priority would be nullifying the threat of taarabt and routledge, therefore, we'll have two straight lines of 4 with most likely fryatt and mclean up top. intrigued to see how rosenior does at left back if he does play there

I must admit I am worried about Sat. We will need to play better than we have done at home recently.

    Guzan

Chester Gerrard McShane Rosenior (I am still a little unsure about Chester at CB atm)

    Stewart Harper Koren Ash Mclean

    Fryatt

I think we need 5 in midfield to counter their 5. If Stewart and McLean can counter as a 3 then I think this formation would work well against a team that we can beat but are supposed to be better than us.

There's a group of us who travel up from London on the same train each week. One of them has told me that when he's spoken to Millwall fans about Simpson, that the Millwall fans are absolutely adament that Simpson was a right winger for them - and was very good at it

He did play right wing for Millwall, he also played there for the Baggies, in fact his first appearance for them was coming on as a sub for none other than our very own Bobby Koren.

For whatever reason, when I've seen him play this season he's looked a yard or two slower than when at QPR (and I assume Millwall as well) which won't help him beat his man. Having said that, he certainly plays better off the shoulder than when fighting it out with lumbering centre backs so I can understand why they would play him there rather than as an out-and-out forward. Guess the proof is in the pudding and if PearsoN plays him on the wing then we'll have our answer.

    QPR recent away form.. (1-1-1)

    Drew 0-0 at Burnley
    Lost 1-0 at Norwich
    Won 2-0 at Cov

    City recent home form..(1-1-1)

    Won 2-0 vs Barnsley
    Lost 1-0 vs Leicester
    Drew 1-1 vs Reading

Last 3 home games vs QPR (1-2-0)

    2007/8 Drew 1-1
    2006/7 Won 2-1
    2005/6 Drew 0-0

    Looking at a tight game..

    Guzan

    Macca Chester Gerrard Rosenior

    Evans Harper Ash Koren

    Fryatt Mclean
    -------------------
Judging by NP's comments Belaid won't start, maybe a sub..

Rosenior is a quality footballer should be ok on LB with Daws out

Macca has experience in PL at RB whilst Solano would be too slow vs good opposition in QPR

    Prediction 2-2

Long time 606 lurker but saved my first post for here. Don't like going 5 across the middle at home but QPR are an exception with the quality they have. Assuming daws isn't fit I'd go:

    Guzan

    Macca Gerrard Chester Rosenior

    Koren Ash Evans Harper Stewart

    Fryatt

Quick counter attacking football with plenty of quality on the bench to switch things up if it's not working

plus Simpson might come off bench having netted behind-closed doors twice vs Leicester..

would NP put him straight in instead of Mclean though?

    Dexter Tucker,

Welcome on board... but should we be playing "counter attack" at home?

But NP might be thinking the same as you.. it wouldn't surprise me, he's careful.. and he doesn't like conceding goals in open games..

In a word no. But I think it is the best way to exploit QPR. 4-5-1 when defending to contain Miller, Routledge and Taarbat then 4-3-3 on attack with Koren and Stewart given the freedom to support Fryatt. Think QPR's biggest weakness is lack of pace at the back. They have just signed ****tu ffs

Looks like Dawson is a doubt, meaning Rosenior to LB and Ninja in at RB............Taarabet (or whatever the **** he's called) and/or Routledge vs Ninja.......Oh heavens!!

OLM you said that NP said Belaid won't start tomorrow... do you know why he won't? Is it a fitness issue or?
