If you score first you'll probably win. If they score first (and early) they'll thrash you - it's coming sooner or later, just hope it's later.

If you beat them you could go above them, that is crazy.

Need to break the game into segments. The first 20 minutes will be crucial. Got to get through this without conceding a goal.. The longer the games goes on the more frustration will creep in and hopefully this filters into the stands. As I mentioned before it's a must win at all costs for Chelsea. Between Kaboul, O'Shea and Coates they can share the stick out that they can give to Costa. I don't think it will take much to wind him up. Also, if Terry is playing if we can get Watmore one on one against....he will toast him. It's going to be a tough, grueling game but we can do this.......last words out of Big Sam's team talk should be "faint hearts win **** all"....Ha Way The Lads!!!!!

Is Jose going to be in charge?
Sky Sports are reporting that "Chelsea are not holding an emergency board meeting BUT Jose Mourinho's future was discussed at board level following the defeat at Leicester"
A tad confusing that as it implies that they have already had some kind of meeting <doh>

If we win this 6 pointer then Jose has to go <cracker>

Well, turn up, don't give away a penalty, don't do anything stupid, focus on your own game and they'll do the rest.

Chelsea are getting worse and worse, they played half decent 2nd half against Leicester but they have huge problems in that squad.

Now is the time to play them. And Us.

To be honest you guys have been a thorn in our sides the past few seasons. You always seem to beat us/take points off us so i wouldn't be surprised if that happened again.

As for Hazard, i'll be glad if he is out of the game as i've never really truly rated him. When on form he is good but even in good form he loves to dribble it around, not really taking anyone on and waiting for the defence to get back. In his current form i'd rather have Danny Graham, at least you know he'll run around and be the defensive striker we all know and love.

I'm starting to get worried, for the weekend, this meeting of the Chelsea board whatever the outcome will surely send a message to this under achieving squad and we might feel the backlash, then on the other hand why should it be always us that give a team an out when the pressure is on, I just can't work this one out as to how this game will end up.

You're thinking too hard about it too early Cumbrian.

Whatever the Chelski board do in the next 48 hours won't mean a rats ass to what happens when the whistle blows.

What really matters is what Big Sam does. Maureeneeo has lost the changing room, so his influence on the game counts for less.

The Chelsea board meeting went as follows "someone has to be sacked because of the dreadful start to the season and Jose Mourinho, you are the chosen one"

I'm being serious. To be honest, he's such a talented but frustrating player. If he used his skills properly he could be one of the best. In my mind he's a bit like Sessegnon to you guys, outrageously talented and was still very effective for us last season but he could be so much better and this season he's just stopped trying so he's about as useful as Danny Graham without the work rate

    I'm a United fan.

Sessegnon plays for WBA anyway. <laugh>

I know what you mean though, Jose gave him the kiss of death last summer saying he was better than our Ronnie.

Oh yea, i forgot you were a United fan (been reading a lot of the topical Sunderland stuff without contributing). In that case he's equivalent to your Nani but a bit more effective :p

He's not our Nani... we only say 'our' when we like them.

Nani was so frustrating, he had a box of tricks in his locker but he always seemed to fumble and screw it up.

Hazard will find his feet, if it was just him out of form I'd be thinking along the same lines as you, but it's not, your whole teams is struggling and that's something I can relate to now, we're blaming Van Gaal and his F**king philosophies!

Don't get me wrong he is really talented, but the thing i find most frustrating is, he never plays the ball first time. Is it a lack of runners as i know we normally only get 1 or at most 2 into the box or he can't spot a pass? But its always the same especially when we aren't counter attacking. He will have the ball, hold it up at the edge of the box, stand his defender up. If another player comes over he will hold hold hold hold them off, flop for a free kick or pass it back.

If its 1 defender, he'll twist one way, twist another but doesn't really ever take the player on and then pass it off. Theres no incisiveness, no urgency to take the player on and play it in. He will never play it first time and he will always hold it for a bit before trying anything. That's what frustrates me most as that just gives time for the defence to reset.

He'll get more time in Spain on the ball, he'll probably look like Messi out there.

This league is getting more and more competitive, it's a good thing, it'll separate the Nani's from the Hazards.
