Force awakens... If I went to see it it would Force me to sleep.

I'd honestly choose a kick in the bollocks over going to watch any Star Wars movie.

A full on, Caterpillar boot, hoof, right in the stones, by Brock Lesnar.

Never seen a Star Wars film, or Star Trek. Science fiction is a load of bollocks. Still, to each their own.

    You're an awful father.

Putting your child through such misery.

On a serious note, my brother is taking his boy tonight as well, he's only 7. A few weeks ago he was loving Star Wars and so, as you do, they got him a load of Star Wars stuff for his Xmas presents, then just a few days ago he said "I hate Star Wars now I like dinosaurs"... because he'd watched the recent Jurassic World film <laugh>.

My brother's hoping he can sway him back to Star Wars so he doesn't have to take back a load of already-wrapped presents!

    Amen brother.

Independence Day was as Sci-Fi as I ever got.

There's a new one of those on the way as well... without Will Smith.

****ing Star Wars. Bang average. Never got through the first one because the Hans-Leia back and forth throughout the film was so badly written and acted it gets turned off every time. If I want to sit with a woman nagging all night I'll do **** all around the house and wind my lady up. That women is one of the worst actress' I've ever clapped eyes on.

It's ****e, Lucas can't write/produce films for ****. His production company has churned out **** the whole time it's operated.

This is one of those posts where you are tempted to hit the like button but have to stop just incase you give the wrong impression.

That pic is wrong on so many levels.

Na, I think you kids were that swept up by the fantasy in your own heads which complimented the film, that you all couldn't see how badly acted his productions are. It was long out before I was born so I wasn't around to get swept away i the hype. I understand those of you who were kids when it came out. Don't get anybody else liking it though but each to their own.

I think it is just an era thing mate, my dad loved the Boris Karloff Frankenstein films and used to tell us about them as kids, when I first saw one I thought it had been shot down the local working mens club, totally dreadfully acted, awful sets but I can see why they were appealing to that generation. It's the same with Star Wars, back in 77 there wasn't much around at all, you had the dreadful Excorcist type films and various other **** so the Star wars trilogy was like a breath of fresh air.

One things for sure though, all generations and many who have departed love these two..<ok>

Always so funny no matter how many times you have seen them and seeing as it's Christmas..:)

Don't mind a bit of slapstick like. Laural and Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, the three stooges, Mr Bean. Even the chuckle brothers serve slapstick very well.
