Gordon Harris during the Adamson reign, an England international who ran as if he was carrying a zimmer frame, awful.
I think that stat probably makes it the winner to be honest! But he wasn't as bad a footballer as Gareth Hall (but he didn;t play 68 games for us!)! Still possibly the worst I've ever seen in a red and white shirt! And Peter Reid - our most successful manager in the Premier League era, picked him ahead of Anton Rogan - who would've broken a consecutive appearance record! Edit - I now realise it was Dariusz so please don't quote this! It was a fair few years ago and I used to drink before and after matches back then!!
Aye I realised that just as I started reading my quotes at lunch time!! What an idiot!! Still - Anton Rogan was far better than Gareth Hall!!
Funny how Sam said the same after the weekend as I have about him all season... Never said he was a bad player though - said he has missed some very good chances which have cost us (Leicester, Spurs etc.)
Yep - predictable But I'm sure Jeff Whitley et al had a good moment in their career too. Across the piece I thought Armstrong was dreadful
Gareth Hall. At least Milton Nunez gave us a laugh. Alan Kennedy was the biggest disappointment as a player though. Pace and mobility all shot to **** when he came to us...
Haha!! If Whitley had a good one I can;t remember it - the thing that sticks out for me with Jeff Whitley was the penalty - he dummied the penalty and the keeper went down leaving the side of the goal open - he then kicked it along the ground to where the keeper was laid!!
Although they've shown flashes of their ability, Johnson & Rodwell have been disappointing in the main.
I think he only played one game, my picks would be Jack Overfield, Rod Belfit. and Jozy Altidore off the top of my head, but I am sure the list is long and very painful.
