    OMFG I can't believe it. I was so nervous to hear the first REAL reviews.

    I knew there'd be a bunch of big companies getting paid to say this movie was awesome, but..

    IT'S GOT 95% ON ROTTEN TOMATOES!!! RT are basically full of the harshest critics out there, and so far there's 95% reviews on it!!

    Going tonight to the IMAX at Metrocentre, should be good apart from the astronomical prices for a thimble of water to avoid dehydrating like a 2 week old Greggs cheese pasty

    Excusing the obvious pun, what exactly do people see in 3D. It's nowhere near realistic and IMO is nowhere near as good as 2D.

    3D if done sensitively is excellent and it does look lifelike. It's when you get the likes of James Cameron who go overboard and it then just looks wrong.

    The camera work of, for example, Prometheus was excellent and when viewed in 3D it looked natural.

    I would argue that you think that 2D looks more realistic is that you're used to watching it so. Or even you may be one of the 10% of the population who can't view in 3D properly.

    But I would expect that in this film we'll just get spaceships flying out of the screen at you just to get the Wow! effect which is so bloody cheesy.

    3D suits movies with action, like Star Wars. It's when it's used in all kinds of movies that it's ridiculous. Doesn't make any odds with me either way. Took the 3D option for Star Wars as it was free and I get to keep the cool 3D glasses :D.

    Rather than spaceships and Avatar seeds coming at you; I'd love to see the Grand National done in 3D.
