Greegsy for me was the only one who turned up for the whole 97 minutes! Lots of effort from others, but too many below par performances. Honourable mention for Curtis who went on walk about for their goal
he went on walkabout because Robbo was upfield and couldn't keep up with the winger so Curtis had to move over and cover for him
watch the video - unfortunately once Robbo is caught, someone has to cover - what should have happened was one of central midfield should have chased back to cover the middle, they didn't
I don't need to watch the video as I was at the match, Curtis was in no man's land, he neither covered nor marked his man.
Hernandez, - not just for the goal but his hold up play and use of the ball was excellent all night McGregor - excellent saves in first half, and good use of the ball getting us moving quickly when needed Robbo - tireless running, but still has to learn about positional sense NB Dave and Elmo ... is Elmo sulking because Dave is being played in the right back berth? he is a shadow of his former self, and I have to say Dave worries me, he gets caught too many times out of position or on the wrong side of forwards, he made a great tackle last night to stop a chance for Vydra, but he`d put himself in such a poor position prior to that to allow Vydra to get wrong side he could quite easily have given away a penalty or worse.
It is, if we are not promoted this year perhaps we can do some sort of vote or thread on adjusting the rules a bit. Perhaps some sort of a more complicated voting system can be implemented on my end that could lead to greater involvement from people on the forum. I will think about it a bit.
Nah, if you don't see it, don't vote, unless you're making a joke, or pointing out that someone's spelt a players name wrong! If you watch it on the player after then vote! Either way I don't think the person was actually serious & expected their vote to count!
Canadatiger is truthful but there are those who are not and vote without saying they were not at the game. Its fairly often that I do not count peoples votes because I know they did not watch it but there is no way I can catch it all of the time. Perhaps something can be done. Its just an idea, we can discuss it before next season.
I never thought people would vote when they haven't seen it! Can't really see the point! We've had a few games on TV this year which will have helped, also the City player too.
Yep so long as you watch the game it doesnt matter if you were in the stadium or not. Streaming services are fine as well.
