    That's the issue, I would not let any good 16/17 year old play in the senior league as they will just get kicked and bullied as they are better players. My son is at Carmarthen Town 16's and am hoping he will stay and go in to the development squad, there are a few others around like Pontadawe, Llanelli and other Welsh League sides and good young footballers should be trying to aim for this, good coaching and at 16/17 actually playing football against people who want to play and not more concerned with their half time ***.

    Yes it was then with the same team finished as runners up in the Copa America and won gold at the Olympics, the same guy who took Bilbao to the Europa league cup final and the Copa Del Rey in the same season

    I'd never heard of him until he started being linked with us, so I'm a little skeptical about how he is so highly rated....
    He's 60, but how come he's been in the game this long and I don't see him being linked with Man City, United, Chelsea, Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Milan, Bayern etc. If he was linked with those sides he'd obviously be 'out of our league', I'm just curious about how highly rated he is by the people that know, other than press hype.

    I think there maybe a bit of a Latin temperament issue with him, I think his attributes as a manger is not in question, some big name mangers have come out and said how good he is including Pep, I think it is a risk but it could be a stroke of genius as well. Lets hope HJ has pulled another one out the hat.

    Like Stereo, I have reservations about Bielsa. His apparent temperament issues could make him volatile to the stability of the club but I suppose it could also be very good in that the players will definitely know who the boss is. I'd like to see someone like that sort out the prima donnas. Not speaking English is certainly a draw back.

    It would certainly be a whirlwind in the first few months and hopefully we'd kick on though. All still as bit premature at the moment of course.

    Do you think they've described the weather to him? <whistle>

    Good luck to your son and any other good enough to play at that level , not all can .I watch a lot of senior league and to be honest there's good and bad but to class it all as you've described it is doing it a dis service .no wonder it's dying .There's still a place for it today fro those who put the effort in and believe it or not theres some decent players out there who play football ,I don't suppose any one gets kicked or bullied elsewhere or maybe they just do it with a bit more style
