Odubajo? WTF? He was the cause of every ****ing opportunity they had, lost Vydra more than a drunk loses their train of thought in a conversation!
Bollocks. Was he supposed to be marking Vydra? No. Davies left Maguire isolated all the ****ing time. Dave was having to cover across constantly as Harry was struggling first half.
I cannot believe anyone has Livermore in their top 3. He was ****ing dire. Again. As was Meyler. Again. We play too slow when they're both in the team together, both far too defensive and lack any quality with the ball at their feet. 1. Robbo 2. McGregor 3. Hernandez Feel very harsh on Harry leaving him out. Usually after a performance like that it's difficult to pick 3 for different reasons.
Whoever he was near, every time they went forward & nearly scored or did score he was at fault, he was caught out of position a couple more times than is in the video, always seemed to be against Vydra! Only his pace saved him. Going forward he looks good, but it's a big worry that both our fullbacks aren't good at defensive duties! http://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/hull-city/10102033/hull-2-1-reading
He also very cleverly managed to prevent them going 1 or 2 on 1 with the goalie when 3 of them hit us on the break at 1-1. Robbo I think it was jockeying the one with the ball off wide with Vydra and another running at Dave. Instinct and split second decision stepped in just as the ball was passed, got in a tackle and cleared it. Was a marvellous defensive move.
I thought Maguire and Davies' positioning was worse, Vydra's movement was pulling them all over the place, neither of them had any idea where he was. The only reason they looked better second half is because Reading didn't try and score again.
Well I'm going to vote based on Burns/Swanns commentary since others seem to be doing so and while its fresh in my mind. Here are my impressions/votes. Disregard it if you want Elle but i'm tired of missing voting because TP is slow in putting the game on. So.. McGregor - kept us in the game in first half when they could have been 4 up. Robertson....seemed to be the only one attacking at pace when the MF went to sleep in first half. Hernandez....the kind of goal grabber we've been missing. Picks up the scraps.
His movement to end up in a goalscoring position was everything we have missed from a striker; your criticism is harsh. But it was really clever of him to conceal that vial of fake blood to make his play acting all the more convincing ... ... You really do come out with some bollocks.
McGregor - because if not for his intervention Reading would have had an unassailable lead by HT! Hernandez - no matter what others may say about him, without his industry and goal scoring qualities we'd never have got back into that game. Jake - for a captain's knock, and scoring the winner.
