How will Akpom ever be an Arsenal regular? Even with the right attitude it's hard to see.

Pretty poor performance but the 3 points is all that matters. No creativity from midfield and the defence clearly has no confidence in them as they were constantly blasting long balls to Akpom. We only started looking any good once they had decided they weren't interested in attacking anymore. Diomande looks to have a very nice touch.

Akpom can **** off. Bruce might be a silly **** but you can't argue with being taken off when you've contributed so little. I appreciate we don't create much for him and he's yet another one who'd look miles better in a team that knows how to attack, but he was still **** today and he usually is.

Akpom & Odubajo were both poor in this game but both had chances to score, both should have but credit to Bond with his saves, Odubajo should have passed if he'd have looked up, but had he done it & we don't score, there would have been screaming of why didn't he shoot!
Akpom was very childish when he came off, but had some good touches on the second half!
As was said by Hollow SB is good with pressure, he does manage scared, but he's been here before, so he must know something!

Akpom's petulance was disgraceful. He's only a loanee ffs. He should be sent back tonight. Attitude is appalling. We'll do without, thank you very much.

Report back to Wenger, thanks but no thanks. Your kid has a lot to learn. Suggest that you try to keep him in line.

If he doesn't sort out his childishness he is going to piss away what is an obvious talent.

    More fool him.

If we go up and they stay put, I’d definitely approve of a move for Nick Blackman – just the sort of centre forward we’re crying out for.

1st half as bad as I've seen this season - if not for Mac they could have been 3 up at half time. Huge improvement 2nd half - especially in commitment and desire, even if quality was sometimes lacking. Reading never got a look in 2nd half and I thought we deserved to win the game in the end. Akpom needs to grow up, It's good that he cares and is passionate - even aggressive, but he has to channel that properly.

To be fair Clucas' persistence led to our 1st goal - but it wasn't his best game. Elmo was below par

Meyler was ****, Akpom did nothing, Livermore was shocking, goal aside. Utter bollocks yet again, can't blame Huddlestone, so who is the cause of this?

Hernandez at least looks bothered and played alright, should've been man of the match.

Livermore is so close to being a great midfielder, he's good defensively, he's good positionally and he always picks the right pass but his technique is subpar so it never comes off.

I don't get the point in a winger that doesn't have pace or the ability to beat a man

I thought he was the best player on the pitch by a mile! He'll be gone in January to a PL side!

Well it was Hudds fault really, he didn't play & we win!
Jake & Meyler were running themselves into the ground, poor touches at times but 2nd half were breaking up everything IMO!

Clucas attitude is fantastic. He was having a night when not much was going right. He's still relatively young and sounded like crowd were getting at him a bit? But he never ever hides or stops trying to play in the right way. And he did as you say get the assist which turned the game.

I think he was brought in mainly as a foil for Robertson, he doesn't mind putting in a defensive shift. If we still had Ince for example it would absolutely neuter Robertson as a threat going forward.

Davies was the my main worry tonight, at times he looked like he was elsewhere mentally.

Think the crowd were frustrated at the lack of crosses from both flanks. Agree with you re Clucas.
