It was Suttons Toby. It would be simple to sort if it asked you for a delivery address first, but it doesn't. Spoken to them about it and they agree it needs sorting, but they said that two years ago. Another company had a similar set up on it's web site, but when I spoke to them they gave me a password to override their systems.

These people want to stop paying taxes to support the religious, which is a good idea. To form another religion to do this is the only way to show how stupid the original idea is.
Morning all, dry, no wind and mild for the time of year. Only another week of the days becoming shorter, then we can think about Spring which normally starts in February here. It must be quite difficult for some people when faced with the modern way of life. Yesterday when I went into my bank there was the lady out from behind the desk helping someone to use the cash machine. This frequently happens and you often see someone looking in their handbag or wallet to find their pin number. At one time you simply had to ask at the desk if you wished to pay money in or take it out, but for security reasons the notice says that the staff have no access to cash. Seems that yesterday the police were out in force all around the area, so some operation was ongoing. My daughter even had to be searched before she went into a DIY store, and had to fill in some forms listing what was in the parcels she was sending from the Post Office. Life is changing.
I don't know about Spring starting in February ofh, here in the middle of England normally pretty cold by this time, I have spring flowering plants out in full force, including a pulmonaria flowering its socks off in pink, viburnum tinus out, roses still coming out and many daffodil shoots sprouting. Given a mild winter Spring might all be over by February! Or should this be in the Potting Shed thread?
The evenings have already started drawing out again but for the moment we lose more daylight in the morning
Watched a bit of Hull v Reading tonight. Bondy kept Reading in the game for a long time with some very good saves, while at the other end The Otter wandered around. didn't look interested, and fell over a lot. Just what they got for their loan fee needs explaining.
Morning all from a dry and cold St. Helier. Have a meeting with the property agent appointed by the solicitor who is handling the probate of my landlady who died about a year ago. I don't think he's going to like what I have to tell him as it goes against what I told him on the phone on Monday.
Morning all, bright, sunny and warm here. Today will be my last building day before the New Year as the grandchildren break up from school tomorrow and my daughter will be fully occupied looking after them. An old house without any heating seems to retain the cold and yesterday it was a lot warmer outside than in. Many houses here throw open the windows and doors at this time of year to let in the warmth from the sun, and it is not unusual to see bedding hanging out of a bedroom window to get a good airing.

These last 10 days since the visit to the Royal Free last Monday have been difficult ones. We had a bad day (not only with train diversions due to a person hit by a train). Mrs L was told that her heart shadow had grown slightly so she now needs to go and have another heart echo so they can decide what to do about it. As if that were not enough there were concerns the cancer had spread to her brain. They did an emergency MRI on her while we were there and said they would let us know. So each day since has been torture for her. Luckily today she has spoken to them and all is normal. A nice relief for Christmas leaving only the heart problem to be investigated - but that is not as urgent. We will get an appointment in January for that.
I really hope that you can have some Christmas cheer Leo, with your wife feeling well enough to get some pleasure from it.
