King's Lynn captain Rory Schlein will make his return from serious injury with the Stars next season.
The 31-year-old broke his back in a crash in Poland in May but has made a remarkable recovery and will now line up for a fourth year at the Adrian Flux Arena

Swindon have completed their 2016 team line-up with the capture of Dakota North.
Having enjoyed a successful spell with the club in 2014, the talented 24-year-old makes the switch from Poole to complete an all-Australian top five

Belle Vue look strong and Poole will always be contenders. Coventrys fortunes will depend largely on Krzysztof Kasprzak I reckon.

Wolves look weak as do Leicester and Lakeside. I cant believe clubs still sign Bjarne Pedersen. He's been off the pace for years.

Can't argue with that. Amazing that some teams have finished their line-ups, but Lakeside only have 2 riders (maybe Pedersen was signed in desperation)
I've a feeling Swindon may challenge as well - an all Australian top 5 should give them a good team spirit

Polish champion Maciej Janowski doesn’t rule out a British Elite League racing return, but admits he needed a break from his hectic travelling schedule.
The Wroclaw-born racer has cemented his name in Poole Pirates folklore after playing a key role in three straight Elite League title triumphs. But next year he’ll line up for Swedish giants Dackarna as he seeks to give the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series more focus

Presumably him returning to Poole isn't an option either, as they already have Hans Anderson and Chris Holder ?

I think his plan is to have a year-off - I saw a bigger article on it on another website (Speedway GP) - he was having to get up at 4.00am to get here then had to do the same thing to go back

That's the issue with us being an island as opposed to mainland Europe where you can drive around between your Polish and Swedish clubs, and get to most GP's easily. Riders simply have more options these days.

King's Lynn’s winter signing Troy Batchelor has undergone successful surgery on a broken upper arm.
The Australian, who has rejoined the Stars for 2016 ten years after his last stint with the club, suffered the break just before Christmas when riding motocross with team-mate Lewis Rose
He should be fit for the start of the season

Leicester have announced the signing of Nicolai Klindt for a second spell with the club this season.
Danish rider Klindt made 14 Elite League appearances for the Lions in 2014 and helped them to a six-match unbeaten run of results at the Jordan Road Surfacing Stadium, finishing the campaign third in their averages

Are you getting, have you got BT Sport in order to watch the Grand Prix and the WTC for the next 3 years ?
I've got Sky but we cant yet get BT Infinity and such like in South Bristol so it looks like paying another £20 a month for around 11 14 programmes a year. Bit of a raw deal really !

I have BT internet but did not sign up for BT Sport - I'm still thinking about it at the moment

I called BT last week and whilst I'd rather not part with £20 a month for barely one programme every 30 days that I want to watch, it's not all bad news.

There is no 12 or 24 month contract involved if you want BT Sport, so in theory you will only need to pay for 7 months out of 12 to get all of the GP's and the WTC.

The first GP isn't until April 30th and the last one in Melbourne is on 22nd October. So if you take out BT Sport on or around 25th April and give them a months notice to terminate on 24th September it should tick all of the boxes?

That's good for them and will prevent Pedersen and Lewis Kerr having 15 rides each every meeting...! <party>

King's Lynn have named club asset Simon Lambert in a reserve berth for the coming Elite League season.
Lambert will team up with Lewis Rose, leaving the Stars with one spot remaining in their side – although no timescale has been given on that issue

Joe Jacobs will return to racing with Belle Vue this season after the club parted ways with Steve Boxall.
Jacobs previously appeared in the Elite League for Wolverhampton in 2014 but sat out racing last year in order to build up funds to upgrade his equipment
