I can ask them but unlikely they just let the Estate Agents do it all as they're only in the country every so often themselves. No idea which agents though, I can ask them and see what they know but expectations are low. I used to do conveyancing myself but never involved with landlord/tenant, just wasn't an area we covered so I've no prior knowledge to put forward :(

I know this may be of no help but you said earlier that you only needed some where for your furniture for a couple of days as you could go somewhere else, I was wondering if you are moving yourself and are hiring a luton or similar to move why not just book it for an extra day and use it for your storage until you move thats if things don't go according to plan.

Update. Robinsons claim the section 20 what ever is the letter itself.

Ok they rang this morning saying I can stay until the 4th providing I settle the rent balance today. 74 pounds. There is still 6 weeks of housing benefit to be paid, around £450. They get this directly to them due to my mental health. I said that's fine so long as first they email me the whole proposal in writing with a promise to issue me a payment there after every time a housing benefit is paid. They refused point blank until I paid the balance. That's right they want me to pay before they offer me assurances despite the fact they're going to get excess of what is owed by quite away. Reeks of blackmail right. Then the lass on the phone start shouting the blame card in defence. I said I've got no issue with you but you're representing a company which I am taking issue with. I asked to end the phone call and for the manager to get in contact.

I'm going to tell the manager I accept the offer of staying to the 4th(staying till then anyway), Once I've been down to the council and arranged for the rest of the HB payments to be made directly to me and I receive an Email saying that I can stay till the 4th providing the balance is cleared.

Bri take the £74 into their office in pennies in a big bag, and film it.

You have to play them at their own game.

I would still question the notice of repossession mate. They sound crafty as ****, I'm not convinced the correct process has been followed at all.

Don't pay them any extra, you mentalist. You are staying there regardless <laugh>

Leave some kippers in the loft and under the floorboards as a leaving present. ****ers

Bri doesn't waste food, remember, did you not read the 'throw out food' thread?

Maybe he could leave a frozen turd selotaped inside the chimney flue.

Sorry i thought bri was mid 30s.

Never had a council thing. But at that age, surely something is in the pipeline.
