nope i'll have to see if anyone does.

I've been positive about the future since september BTW... one of the last posts i made was shame the club didn't sack rodgers but the transfers were as much as we could hope for. we then did what i wanted all along

The 12th man doesn't win you the game but it makes for one heck of a better match experience - actual physically felt support for the team to inspire them to keep pressing on [which they did Sunday] and for the fans to actually enjoy being a part of the club rather than the bystanders we've come to feel we are. As saint said earlier, players don't respect the fans and they should, we pay their wages. If you create a sense of we're all in it together, players play themselves out, fans vocally involved, win, lose or draw is all accepted because we're all trying to raise the team to raise the game to go home happy with points in the bag. The fans can claim that 1 point from West Brom game because we fought for it too.

I don't know what any of that means <laugh> .. but it's never happened before. A few years ago the system crashed and wouldn't let me log in so I sent an email to Mick and was given a new automatically chosen password which is a load of numbers and letters in upper and lower case, I couldn't possibly remember it but as I only ever use my own computer for here I never log out so didn't feel the need to change it, never thought I'd need to remember it until today... frantic search through emails from 2 years ago.

    This

We all want the same thing: have a winning team playing good football.

Klopp has his own way of doing things and wants to stamp his influence/authority on the club. That is not to say that everything he does is correct and that he is beyond criticism. His aim is to be applauded but the ways to achieve this not always "right". Some are and some aren't.

This attitude that he is above any flaws and any criticism is deplorable. That is why some of the other fans think we look up to him as some messiah. If Rodgers had done that, with the same objective, he would have been pilloried by some of us here. "What the **** is he trying to do here?" some would have screamed.

FWIW I didn't think very much of this holding hands and having some group "thank you" to the fans. It was too close to being a celebration and for me more appropriate to german football than the premiership. Bayern did that when they won the league and Dortmund did it in celebration after a great win.

All he could have done is get the players to walk across and quietly clap the fans. It is done very often to thank away fans and he could well have done it here. Instead he went for agrand gesture which in the main invited ridicule.

He could have done that but would it have had the same impact? I don't think so.

All that matters is that the fans were pumped after the game and will hopefully bring that energy into the next game.

Who's said he's beyond criticism. Kenny - living legend that he is - was soundly criticised for the t-shirt debacle, team choices, purchases, tactics ... and if there was ever one person who embodied LFC 100% and held fans hearts 100% it is him.. and if he could be criticised then Klopp will be, as and when, but the Kop salute isn't cause for any imo.

Exactly . Criticising the manager for injecting much needed passion and energy into a lifeless crowd.

Whether some people like it or not, it's needed. He's practically jumping up and down on the touch line all game acting as a cheerleader. He's on a mission to get anfield rocking - and he's doing all he can.

I don't really care what other fans think. Or perhaps I should say I don't formulate my opinions based on theirs. There's always tribal banter in football and they're bound to fill their boots with something as unusual as this. We'd probably do the same if the roles were reversed even if we didn't really think it was a bad idea.
We're all entitled to our opinions, but I think what he did was an experiment that is worth a try, regardless of what others think, and as we've said earlier anything that can bring back a sense of togetherness with all associated with the club should be a good thing.
It's a shame it's turned out a little divisive on here.

thats fine. I like that a lot. much perfer to rodgers suit and few notes and zero instruction. reminds me of rafa but with much more feeling.

Yes there are issues with the crowd but a great way to wake em up is to deliver on the pitch.. oops did i say that?

Just worried that MITO seems to be a lone voice amid the huge crowd of applauding fans ;)
