Well since O'Leary and Rissdale orchestrated your demise, we have had 2 promotions, an FA Cup Final in Cardiff, a European adventure and 3 trips to Wembley, so our pleasure has been far greater than yours
Indeed you look like you have been for dead forty years.... making you forty odd. *Well he started it!*
and yet you have still never finished above us...... and never looked like winning a major trophy. Our darkest days are still brighter than your brightest ones.
Well Geez the time has come after that post to let you know that you are as your profile pic refers..........an arse
A number of the managers have a claim to be in the top 5, but I cannot believe that Jock Stein is not included in this list. Not only was he the first British manger to win the European cup, he did it with a team of players who were born within a 30 mile radius of Celtic Park. This has never been matched. None of your fancy Dan foreigners. Players only earning what a shipyard welder earned (with overtime). And he won the Scottish First Division title 9 years in a row, which has never been surpassed.
Pub league managers are not worthy of consideration. 44 days in a proper league. Even you could manage Celtic to the title....
Yeah, because pub team managers win the European Cup, don't they? Even the Don failed to do that with the team we had. If anything, your snide comment underlines exactly how remarkable his achievement was.
Fecking hell that was quick. Hadn't even got the clutch set on the reel. Never looked like doing it again. Most proper football nations were treating as a training routine or not bothering at all in 1967. Flash in the pan. #thirdworldpubleague
Irony upon irony..... Jock Stein was not in the top ten of football managers who have plied their trad in the UK. Bill Nicholson is another that's light years in front of him.
You could buy yourself a killer pass - obviously won't reach you in time for Xmas as its so good it will miss the post
So how many other managers in that list reached the European Cup final twice? I'm assuming you've now looked it up after embarrasing yourself.
I happen to see Celtic beat us at ER and Jimmy Johnson run rings out of Cooper Stein had found or Achilles heal and boy did he make it pay not so much in the replay but that 1-0 first leg was enough
Eire:- I have the same poop sentiments as Glory but again I agree with Glory about Ferguson. He has to be top of that table. 2 Champions leagues, God knows how many domestic cup and titles and could have gone on for a lot longer. It pains me to say this but player development of Ronaldo to second to none, bought him for £11 million and sold him for £70 million. Let's not mention the class of 92. I hate to say it but I would put Ferguson at number one. Glory:- Are you ****ing ****ting me? Wenger top five. What are you smoking my friend. The last ten years at Arsenal have been a joke. They've gone backwards seriously gone backwards. The Transfer Policy has been terrible. Granted somebody has corrected his Medication and things are working but half of the fans want Wenger out. Ten years ago I would have agreed with you but now... nope
