We were joint top I believe in 2008/09, but we never actually sat top of the league. Our time will come. Of course, there'll be the inevitable departure of Leicester's players, January will be a tough time for them if they don't hang on/replace those big players.

I suspect the "big" players at Leicester might realize that staying with them might be more beneficial for their long term prospects. If they ended up in the top 4-6, and maintain their form, next summer would be the time to move. January would most likely see them mostly on the bench at "bigger" clubs. They have great team spirit & are all working well together. That said, big money contracts may flatter them, or tempt management to sell. How big a draw is European football for Leicester's ownership ?
For the sake of English football's future, I hope they stay together..

I can't see Leicester being picked apart. The only one I can see being bought away is Mahrez, but even then I'm not sure anyone will stump up the cash Leicester will want for him mid season.

I think people will wait to see with Vardy whether he keeps this up, he's obviously going to take an enormous sum to shift, and I think most will be wary about makig such an outlay on someone who looked so hopelessly out of their depth little more than 6 months ago. I don't think moving would be a wise move for him either.

Inevitable departure of players? January will be a tough time to keep hold of them?

    What you chatting?

Why in God's name would anyone leave them at this current moment?

Leicester will spend big in the Jan Window , and go for at least a Champions league spot they got some tough games coming up ,Everton and Liverpool away followed by Man City at home , get 6 points from them games and its all on...

get a Champions league spot then they could really sign top talent and keep the stars they have now

They're doing well at the minute, but why in gods name would anyone turn down a move to Man Utd, City, even Chelsea?

becuase maybe they're in it for the football and not the money, who's to say how much game time they'd get if they went to one of the rich clubs

It's weird that. How come teams at the top are always playing teams below them? Another thing I notices: teams at the top tend to win more. Coincidence? I think not.

Whatever, it's very refreshing to see a team breaking the hegemony, irrespective of who they are.

Why in God's name would a supposed adult go to see a film for kids at midnight? But they do.

I forgot seeing a film and moving football clubs were similar. Best remember that for the future.

Lmao they're still a **** clubs with **** fans. I wonder what odds you'd get for them finishing outside european qualification spots because it's still nailed. Xmas hasn't even passed and they're talking about title contenders lmao.

That's what everyone always says. When does it ever happen?

I doubt Leicester fans have deluded themselves into thinking they're a bigger draw than the big clubs.

I don't think Leicester will lose any players in January, they've got themselves into a frankly unbelievable position. Players will be keen to see if they can carry this form through to the end of the season. The Leicester turnaround has been as seismic as the Chelsea collapse. It's almost as if they have swapped abilities from last season.
