The Barclays premier league record. It won't stand much longer, it will be a new league next year or the year after wont it?
Club statement says there'll be no goal music at the Reading game and season pass holders are going to be consulted on various ideas aimed at improving the match day experience, so ultimately the fans will decide. Pity they haven't get a Fan Working Group they run these things by...
That's excellent news. Get the views of the many, rather than the few. I can't see why anyone would think that's a bad idea. Well apart from you obviously. Did anyone want to jump in at this point and state they won't listen anyhow?? Gowaaan.
I obviously don't have an issue with the fans being consulted, they should be consulted as often as possible and as widely as possible. Though based on previous polls, it may well say, do you want goal music with the Allams staying in charge, or do you want no goal music and the beheading of a new born puppy.
It's a shame the group looking at ways to improve the atmosphere got stalled, but at least it looks like it's finally being recognised as a problem.
I'm not bitter, just disappointed, anyone with half a brain would have completely dismissed goal music today and done a poll of fans just on the other ideas. It's obviously going to get binned, absolutely everyone hates it, I see no benefit in giving the idea a slow and painful death.
I'm disappointed. If a 70's entertainer in dark glasses doesnt appeal to kids then i cant think who does. Plus one of the band please log in to view this image
That's if you believe it really is being looked at. I'm sorry Dutch, but excuse me for having my doubts.
I didn't say it was being looked at, I said it's been recognised as a problem. The fact they got it wrong with the music doesn't change the reason for trying it. Prior to that, there were claims from a variety of areas saying things were not too bad.
Who's recognising this as a problem? Who are they? How on earth could 'they' get it so wrong? An honest question for you, do you think 'they' are purposely trying to piss us off?
Thank God only a handful of Bolton were there to witness our clubs shame and we only scored the 1 goal. Never again.
