Celebrating what though? Fair enough telling the players to go and applaud the home fans, but walking down hand in hand and celebrating like you'd won a pot? #cringe
Personally I don't think it was embarrassing.Klopp was just getting the Liverpool players to do what happens in Germany after a game.I for one like seeing the players showing their appreciation to the fans after a game.
I do too, it was just the context after scraping a draw against WBA at home that was a bit embarrassing. Overall though, fair play to Klopp, I like him as a manager and I like his style.
You can see what he's trying to achieve with that kind of thing, the issue is that it's all a bit forced and therefore false. Genuine passion and wild celebration is a massive part of the game, but that was contrived. Fair enough getting the players to applaud the fans, but given the context, the way he marched them down hand in hand was OTT.
It was embarrassing and the players looked embarrassed. His whining about WBA's tactics and refusal to shake Pulis's hand was also a bit embarrassing.
He's always been prone to a #meltdown, and as the games roll on and the honeymoon period ends, if results don't improve and the pressure mounts on him, there'll be plenty more of the snarling, petulant side of him on show. He'll be good value I reckon.
I see Klopp as someone who just found someone passed out and not breathing, he's at this point doing cpr and there are signs of life if he stops we're a corpse.
Defo, he's known for losing it but I've no problem with that, let him rip into a ref or two and show that he gives a ****. Rodgers and Roy both just rolled over and took whatever happened, never showed any teeth.
The players can do what they're told, they should be more embarrassed at the fact that they didn't win the game. He should shake hands with Pulis but he was pissed off and didn't I can live with that he's not the first and wont be the last.
stans just pissed off and trying to deflect his own anger that they dropped points again and that we have a manager they would love to have, Klopp's reasons for thanking the fans are there for all to see /hear in the post match press conference, who gives a **** what some muggy mancs got to say about it tbh
No fella, I genuinely think it was embarrassing. If any other club had done that after sneaking a point at home to West Brom you'd be pointing at them and laughing. The players looked embarrassed because it was embarrassing. Whilst I think LVG is a mug I've seen little from Klopp to suggest that he'd be tearing up the league as manager of United. So far you've been woeful at Anfield which is probably why he's trying to stretch out the "bounce" effect with things like the holding hands celebration!
We've been woeful at home for a long time, and will be til he can replace certain players so your point about home form and the Klopp affect is well pointless at this current time, look at how lvg after a 300m spend has turned you into Stoke, to judge klopp after less than half a season is clutching at straws, just as your outrage at him making sure the team thanked the fans for their support is clutching at straws. I'm happy with what he and the team done, you aren't plus we gained points on you, I make that klopp 1,every other **** 0
