I don't mind Leicester beating Chelsea 3-0 at all. They play good footy and deserve to be there. But let's be realistic, they won't be able to keep this level up for long. I would say it'll be the usual suspects this season, but's it's been the most unpredictable in the history of the Premiership, even Wenger smiled when asked about it on Sunday. Only real team I can see challenging us for the title is City. Yes i'm saying it, we are one of the favourites to win the league with City. I've got a feeling that this will go down to the wire and it'll be down to the one with the most nerve, will win it.
I'm not sure I'd write Leicester off so quickly though. We are reaching the halfway point of the season, so everybody has played each other once. If they can do it for half a season, then there's nothing stopping them continuing the run (bar injuries etc). Personally I think they are in for a really good shout for top 4 this season, especially given Chelsea's bus crash of a season. That said, it would be sweet to see them hand Chelsea's arses to them today.
At some point Leicester are going to have a bad run of form,it will be interesting to see how they react to it.
If they lose players like Vardy or Mahrez to injury or poor form, then they will struggle. Unless they bring Lineker back out of retirement
I'm not trying to right Leicester off and I'd love if they got top 4. But we know that their squad is limited in size and if a couple of players go out, they will struggle. But the priority is for Maureen to continue to struggle and if that means a whopping from Leicester, so be it
You're probably right. Squad size could be their undoing. As I've mentioned if they lose players like Vardy or Mahrez to injury or poor form, then they will struggle. As much as a draw would suit us today, I'd love to see Leicester smash the chavs and Maureen get pulled into a relegation scrap.
Great result. Regardless of the opposition an away win in the EPL is a good thing, especially after mid-week exertions. Even better result - every other c*cking game around us! Honestly couldn't have wished for a much better weekend in terms of results. Just got to hope lowly Chelsea can cause an upset against Leicester now.
