Ah right, I didn't realise you'd knocked the away fans off already.

Slating the owners is so ****ing yesterday.

The atmosphere is never good when you have no away support.

The joke is on those that still think that not going has any effect on anything that happens in the club. I am glad that you don't go, ****ing miserable twats.

I go to games to enjoy the match, yesterday was a great game for moaning at the ref, being thankful for not being in the same financial strive as Bolton and for getting a win.

No, I think the opposite. The supporter base is only divided into those who go and those who don't. Choosing not to go because of the owners does not get my respect, it only shows that some think that their protest is more about important than actually supporting the team. You need to wake up and smell the coffee.
If you can tell me what you hope to change by not attending, please don't hold back, I need a good laugh.

I think the fans are divided into rather more than just those two groups.

Are the OHCsC going to have a chat with the club about goal music, Omega Man? No one likes it.

Of course. It's the only officially recognised premier supporters group officially recognised by the football club (unlike other supporter groups) and will represent ALL members views.

    Recognised.

I think standard procedure is to canvass the opinion of members & then say they're can't commit to the view of the overwhelming majority as the one person who didn't respond to the question need their view expressing also. Especially if the very small minority is in agreement with the club. Wouldn't want the apple cart upset.

As far as I am aware the FWG is the main "group" for testing out things like this, two members of which post on here.
The issue isn't what we (HCOSC) think of it, it's more about the reaction of the crowd on the day and on social media.
Lots of piss taking about the HCOSC, that's fine, but the reality is that we are getting younger officers into advise the board, we are focused on supporters enjoying going to matches, holding social events and raising money for charities.
No, if I had been asked my answer would have been a resounding no. I do want a better atmosphere, but I believe it has to be crowd generated and not manufactured.

I think there are PL attendees who bought tickets because they hoped we wouldn't be relegated. In Bruce They Trust. <laugh> Some of them can afford not to use their pass and leave an empty seat.
The financial incentive for the half-year pass was a nonsense. As a lump sum it is still a lot for some just before Xmas. The professionalism of whoever banded the pricing, is a decent yardstick of how our club is run.
Match day ticket purchase is a total joke.
I think it was Kempton who celebrated the demise of the name-change, which I find strange if you read the letter sent by the Safety Officer and pasted in a post earlier on.
Attendances are down, the match day experience is piss poor; it's certainly not good value for money, but that is football overall.
I fail to see why anything (opponent quality) other than a real derby game should change why you attend; don't we all go with as much hope as expectation? I expected a 1-0 win, I got it, but I really hoped for better.
The club is split and whether that was the goal of the owners or not is now academic, as it is the reality. When I was driving the 140miles home, through driving snow, did I think the time and expense well spent? No is the easy answer, I could have done better more enjoyable things with my time and money - it is that which must be addressed by the club if they want their customers to return. Sad but true.

    So what group represents ALL
I could have done better more enjoyable things with my time and money - Good grief you talk like a marketing man! Supporting Hull City isn't about enjoyment - it's a way of life! You can go from the depths of despair to the heights of exultation in the time it takes to score a goal. It's about building up to the game in the days beforehand & either riding the crest of a wave after a win or kicking the cat after a defeat. It's being proud to be a follower of the club or to be able to moan about how bad it was afterwards and blame the players, the manager, the Owners or even your fellow supporters.

On the topic of marketing the club, I've just received an email from the club that says:

    Following the draw last week we now have confirmed details for our FA Cup Third Round Proper fixture which is as follows;

The Emirates FA Cup Third Round Proper

Hull City Tigers v Brighton & Hove Albion

    Saturday 9th January 2016

    3.00pm

    KC Stadium

What possible reason is there for calling us Hull City Tigers, other than to further antagonise people?

I simply don't get it, it's an absolutely ****ing stupid thing to do.
