I think if we get Gayle and Wilson in on loan and Cole in on a free we might start to pick up. We still need at least 2 strikers but 3 would be better.

Hernandez comes back injured. Chubbys poor form's been hidden by everyones seeming hatred of Jelavic.
Then we've got Dio. He may be great he may be ****. You need four forwards.

A good day yesterday for Hull City with all our main rivals dropping points. All teams do.

With Brighton @ QPR on tuesday(live on sky) and then @ home to Middlesboro next weekend and Derby with a home game against Brizzle on tuesday and then a trip to Ipswich next weekend more points will be dropped.

With us having Reading @ home on weds and then a short trip to Rotherham next weekend we can close the gap again ready for the festive fixtures. Come on you Tigers.

See McShane gave away the penalty that gave Preston the win. Hope he gives us a similar present on Wednesday.:emoticon-0100-smile

I guarantee McShane and Quinniesta (if he`s on the park) will put monumental shifts in against us, points to prove and all that,

It was a seriously clumsy challenge too - took me right back to the dark days of 2010/11, when he had an awful stretch of form.

Indeed so. Macca is always good for a howler. He will get good applause from me before KO but then i hope he has a stinker of a game.

No Quinn-iesta though. Still out with this knee injury. 2 months and counting. Keep an eye on Blackman, he could be worth a gamble in January.

Boro will be without Nugent for 3 games! That has to be a plus? :emoticon-0148-yes:

Blackburn to play Forest tomorrow night. Wonder if we will go in for Rhodes again this window. If we don't, you know Boro will.

We've got to land him, I'm certain he's been a Bruce longterm target for ages, it's almost an open secret. Blackburn aren't going up so Rhodes surely will want a crack at the big time. Don't think Burnley or brighton could afford him so us, Boro or Derby in the auction perhaps.

At £10m I'd be very, very surprised if we bothered, but I just wonder if we'll be tempted if only to stop other teams from signing him. Burnley don't need him, think Brighton could probably break the bank for him if they wanted to.

£10m not enough surely? I thought M'boro had offered around £15m last summer?

There's a chance we might go back in for Rhodes in the summer if we get promoted, but we won't look at it in January.

They had a ten million offer rejected, which pissed Rhodes off because he wanted to join his uncle.
