Like they say, league table does not lie. Every team above United is better and those lower are worse. After 16 games, at least. But it's a marathon. Ask in May.
Nope. PSV, Boro, West Ham etc all more than happy to take a 0-0. What you're suggesting is LVG can't send out a team that can balance defence and attack. That's a shocking indictment considering the time and money he's had available to him.
Tbf, your word of the year has been cowardly. Not sure what I have made up but there's a whole host of replies you made to me that were kind of fabricated. Do you mean them?
I don't think we were happy. They didn't look happy, van Gaals post match interviews suggested he wasn't happy. I will take your word for it though. No reason to doubt you Stan.
I am a successful man. Football is a game. This is a site that I come to for a bit of banter and fun. Do you think any of what goes on, on this site, really matters to me, at the end of it all?
If we are susceptible to counter attacking teams, then who's fault is it? Isn't that the manager's job to fix? Do not be deceived, van gaal did not abandon the passing game, opponents are simply getting wiser and getting a go at us, and that has nullified our passing game. Again it reveals the manager is incompetent.
Nope, you said I called him a coward for making unexpected selections. If you can't support that with a link then you should pipe down. If anything is cowardly about some of his selections it's the predictability of them. Other selections are just plain incompetent. I'm not surprised you're supportive of them.
To watch, I would say that you're better. But as in results, you're not as effective which is what the table reflects. Not who is exciting to watch. Newcastle for example have always been exciting to watch in the league because you never what you would get. But they've been pants when it comes to effectiveness. Most fans would rather get results first, then excitement second.
The managers however its far to simple to leave it at that. Scratch away and you see that this issue didn't exist 3 games ago, so we were doing something that worked, at least defensively. Yes we lacked anything in attack but I believe we would have got the balance had our defence not pulled a collective Sicky. Dropping Rooney has sped up the attack. Its more fluid. Drop mata and just play the kids I say.
My apologies. You've preciously mentioned United were happy for the draw elsewhere so sincere apologies for any confusion.
