He agrees with every Spurs comment you make, and you reward him by liking everything he writes. It's pathetic!

I am having a drink. We in Spain too have this thing called wi-fi

HIAG this is the 3rd time I've had to ask this question now and you still haven't answered.

I do hope I'm not going to have to raise it in the 'HIAG's bottle jobs' or 'Missing persons alert' thread ? :)

Usual stock answer when you don't have a real one. Nothing new! <doh>

And you accusing somebody else of biting on every comment is truly laughable. <laugh>

Have you heard the one about the pot & the kettle?

Sorry NSIS, the "needy" insult is one I came up with and is reserved for HIAG. Don't use it again please.

I've enjoyed the last half hour on here. Good fun. Cheers spuds fans <ok>

Now I'm going to enjoy a nice glass of wine and some quality time with my family.

    C'ya.

So back on topic. HIAG claimed in the OP that top of the table Arsenal are 'going backwards'

Would you still say that is the case @Hoddle Is A God ?

  12. I'm just back from my local. It's a lovely littel country pub with good atmosphere and old faces. I was cheered from my dark thoughts.

    Now, to business...

Are Arsenal going backwards? It's very hard to tell, because none of the teams that are better than Arsenal have really come alive this season, yet. I cannot say they are going "forward" unless to go forward is stand still whilst those better teams around them go backwards? Time will tell, of course. Arsenal have yet to play some decent opposition, and then we will see.

This is a marathon, not a sprint.

i know what you mean, we have played Spurs [i was there] and they really are a 6th place Europa team :)

if a team is better than Arsenal they would be above them in the PL - take a gander at the table, you will see Arsenal are top.

  14. That's a fair reply, I suppose. You couldn't beat us, of course, or some of the teams we have beaten or drawn against. It's going to be interesting to see how you fare against some of the other better teams, though.

name a better team as of today we are top of the table

  16. I have never indulged in such pointless bragging at this point in the season, but I am happy that you and the rest of the Gooners are celebrating being top of the league. Leicesters fans were doing the same, not so long ago.

We have gone from 5th at the beginning of October to 1st by the middle of December, so would you describe that as:

    1. Going backwards ?
    2. Going forwards ?

We are getting on for almost half way through the season, so soon enough we will have played EVERY team. How can we not have come up against any decent opposition ?

(I take your point about including Spurs in that list though)

  20. PIXIE, you have me at a low ebb. Go on, take the piss; it is your right.

I cannot fashion any proper response to your jibes. You are the man holding the gun. You are in charge.

As NSIS says, us Spurs fans know we were dreadful, today.

    Crow. Go on!

We must share in the humiliation of our team.

Personally, all I can do, is look forward to your further advances in the CL, and to your spanking Barca or Real. Your club is great, you will stem the perennial humiliation in Europe, and make England great, again.

I won't take the piss out of you, if you fail. Promise.
