I used to like these forums before all the arguing and bickering. Whatever side of the divide you are on, you can't deny the Allams have divided the fans. Even when we where in the Championship before we didn't have the best atmosphere but at least there was the odd song, the ground is now completely silent for most of the game whether its Boro or Bolton playing at the KC.
Well I've not actually seen any evidence refuting what I said - only OLM statistics that compare apples with pears. Remember the saying - there are lies, damn lies and OLM statistics!!
. Firstly, Chazz, you have too much time on your hands. Going back through previous posts ala Agatha Christie is not only sad, but a little bit creepy.... Secondly, going to a match when it is a mates birthday, and then yesterday going to the game with a mate who had travelled all the way over from Bradford is what mates do. They ask you to go to catch up and have a pint and have a natter. I will always put my mates before my self inflicted excile. However our observations yesterday were the two hours we were at the game, were the low point of a great Saturday. The match was ****, the atmosphere was ****, the beer was ****. Why was the best singing in the North Stand done on the concourse at half time, but not during the match, what was that all about. So pick up and regurgitate old posts all you like, the facts are the prices are too high, the football and atmosphere is ****e, and the fans have been divided like never before. Not a happy ship at all.
You're full of ****. Your principles arent principles. You're using the Allams to not go. What, a bit bored are you? Take the easy way out and then go when you feel like it. Full of ****.
No idea, is 18,000 supposed to be good? Why do you think we got thousands more fans the last time we were relegated from the PL with a crap squad, poor performances and financial meltdown on the horizon? Why did the fans not look for excuses then? You don't like it but it's pretty obvious what's happened and we said exactly this would happen. It's obvious even in football if you piss everyone off they'll eventually stop spending. We've been treated like **** and you thought it was great. Now we're seeing the fallout. Ehab says it's all the fans fault and you lap it up. You'd rather turn against your fellow fans and have a go at them than swallow your pride.
Not sure what the difference is. If we'd give them away would wee get more people in? So stupid question Cant answer the Hull tigers thing. Can anyone really say i got an email with Hull tigers on I'm not going? How are they being alienated? Now your turn. You think its disgraceful only 15,700 came yesterday. How did we lose these principled ****ers in a month?
So you think charging more than double to watch Burnley in the Championship than the Prem is OK, then fine go ahead and pay it. So you think a season ticket for the North Stand at Hull should cost the same as Man U at Old Trafford, then fine go ahead and pay it. So you think it acceptable that seven days before a home game you cant buy tickets from a ticket office? Is it acceptable that the stewards all know that the tickets from the ticket machines wont scan at the turnstiles??? The club is a joke, end of. The easy way out would be to not go and switch off completely, and not come on these forums. I am on here because I care about the club you ****wit, and won't be a sheep following blindly. Call me full of ****, I don't care what you think. Wake up and smell the coffee, we were getting 8000 more in the fourth division.
Thanks for the answers, shame they don't correspond to the questions, but you can't have everything. What are you having for tea?
Your maths. Boro 20,352. minus 2,500 = Bolton 15,739. minus a few hundred. Over 2000 can get their arse in for a big game. If we **** up our attendances will drop. If we stay at the top we'll have 24.000 at the end of the season. Loyal as ****
