We're four points off the top and have(on paper) arguably the best squad in the championship. 15,000 is diabolical. If you're not pretending, you're deluded.
"I'm not going. Will be the first season in 20 years that I haven't had a season ticket. It's gonna be strange tomorrow as 3 PM comes, but I like to think I have a decent moral compass, and I can't bring myself to hand over my hard earned cash to Toad Snr & Toad Jnr." "Absolutely spot on!!!! I have not renewed my pass for the first time since the Dolan years. I must admit it has been very difficult to get my head around. This week, I found myself wavering, and thought shall I, shall I???? Let's see what is in the paper today, maybe they are looking to mend bridges..... Then loathsome toad junior came out with his gobful of bile and ****e today as usual, and I stepped back from the brink, I will not renew whilst their campaign of idiocy continues. I will still meet up with friends before the game, but stay in the pub at 3PM. Silver clouds and all that....." "Exactly this ^^^^^^^ - I went to my first game of the season last night, I have been a season ticket holder for 20 years but refused to hand over any more money to the Allams and never renewed by pass in N3 this season. I only went last night because it was a mates birthday I don't get to see very often. He sits in the East Stand and I wanted to get him a birthday drink and have a catch up so begrudginly paid cash to get a ticket near him." We are Hull City we go when we want
Is that what you say about anyone that doesn't agree with your point of view - that they're deluded! Good argument! I suppose to you that anything less than full capacity is an "awful attendance"! Even though we're playing the bottom club in the league and even though it's the last but one shopping day to Christmas...
What the **** does playing the bottom of the league team have to do with anything, we should be tearing them apart, if anything it should increase attendances.
Does anyone still go Christmas shopping these days? Amazon's open 24/7 you know. And as for the "deluded" bit, no, It's what I say to deluded people like YOU!
So you would expect the same crowd against the bottom of the league as against the top of the league would you - I think you're in cloud cuckoo land there!
Judging by the fact that there are still shops on the high street and that they are all full of shoppers, then the answer is an emphatic yes - most people still do go Christmas shopping!
I don't think people need an "excuse" not to go, just a 'reason'. In a Hull city fans case, there are many reasons to choose from. I won't list them, that's been well documented already, but I will say our team being **** isn't an acceptable one. I should point out that for myself, I would have been going again by now as the name change thing appears to have 'done one' I just can't go due to family stuff. I'll definitely be back, I just don't know when, because as promised I'm CTID.
Why did we have nearly 18000 "fans" against Boro or more attending against Derby than yesterday? Maybe they're like Simon and have really strong principles that they stick in the cupboard when they fancy watching a game?
Is that what you always say to anyone who holds a different opinion to your own, they're in "cloud cuckoo land"?
I don't know - but presumably a "big" game against a fellow struggler against relegation which is what we were facing in the Premier League. This season in the Championship the "big" games are against fellow promotion hopefuls - like Middlesbrough and Derby.
Depends if you go to support City or watch the opposition. Supporter or spectator, watcher or participant. Norwich, a smaller city than Hull had more or less the same irrespective of opposition last year. Derby get far more than we do, again from a smaller city.
Bottom team, you can't have it both ways. You're an apologist for stupid decisions, I'm afraid that makes you a stupid man.
