Perhaps but I don't think it would have gone past round 2 of that mess at the end of the 1st hadn't happened. It gave Whyte a longer time to recover from that initial slug fest and had to help somewhat. He still has some learning to do and Whyte is a heavy puncher. I'd say he came out of this quite well. Not Eubank Jr well (who also needs to learn a few more things) but well enough.
Joshua isn't ready for stepping up yet, I'd give him Chisora next and let him mince him. End of 2016 put him against a top fighter, make no mistake about it he's got the power and the engine to go right to the top amongst the current crop of **** occupying that division. If I was Joshua I'd tell Haye to go **** himself, he doesn't need to be ****ing around with pantomime dickheads like him.

Just watched it on YouTube, entertaining fight between two good boxers. I actually found myself supporting Whyte, I like the way he boxes and he can't half take a punch. I wonder how much better he'd be if he was in great shape, pro (male) boxers shouldn't have tits. I do like Joshua but I'm not a fan of all the smirking he was doing in Whyte's face when he landed a good one. It was quite satisfying to see the grin wiped off his face in the second round. I know they hate each other but let your fists do the talking I reckon. Everyone wants to be the next Ali but there was only one.
Watched the boxing last two bouts last night and enjoyed it. But more oftern then not boxing is a let down these days so I've taken to downloading classic fights.
Haye was unbeatable in his natural weight division and had to move up to heavyweight for meaningful competition..he must have been doing something right..
Joshua isn't in that weight division. That's not the point anyway, he's been retired for years and his career is more TV personality than fighter now. He's a sell out idiot with a huge mouth. Nobody knows how he's gonna be on his return, FMJ was amazing on his comeback but for every FMJ there's 10 Ricky Hattons.
