My Charlton bud thought it was a good 0-0 that we shaded... Good in the 2nd half anyway. Our side might not be statistically better than last year, and ultimately points on the board is what counts, but I do think we're capable of putting together spells of good football... And we're rarely taken to the cleaners. Two things I haven't been able to say for the years it seems of just scraping results playing rubbish. Those games/spells of good football are mixed in with too many games/spells of tosh... Which is typical of many teams at this level. So do I see some improvement? Personally I do, just not as much as any of us would like. I caveat the above by admitting I don't get to attend games, so those that do will have a better perspective than my TV analysis...

As Glory said listen to the Charlton fans,they know there stuff.Evans said we battered them more in the second half than we did Hull in the first half last week.And the first half last week was very one sided.

Well despite what you think they have better home form than us,beat Sheff Wed 3-1 only 3 weeks back (no fluke) and despite losing it in the second half a week ago went 2 up at Brighton which the league table says are the best team in the league.They are 17th in the form tables,and a 50 yards shot that trickles to the keeper counts as a shot on target but is never going to score.Mk dons are told to shoot on target,they have loads of shots on goal but most from 50 -60 yards and baring a fluke most will never score.For 1 who has been a lot of games in his life you have learnt very little.Boro had 1 shot on target against Leeds how **** must they be ay.

To be clear I am not in the who is doing better in their league debate. I am pointing out that we have made no progress over last season. FTR I would take finishing fourth bottom of our league over finishing third in league one and not winning the play offs. I would certainly take it over being seventh or lower in the pub league.
