Fair play to the ones who did their best to get it going, but no wonder 'Mare was up at the window laughing
Going over Twitter there seemed to be quite a few claiming to have been at sheff Wednesday, but not bothering to attend yesterday's match.
Right - so it's common knowledge that Rick Everitt is on the committee now. But it appears he was asked to sit on this before people were welcome to apply. When he was told that he too would then have to apply, he refused - only to be told then that he was on it. Yep - this is going to be a rousing success.
What will they do exactly? So they start a meeting, all sit down and... what? They can't honestly believe that anything other than winning games brings in the masses? The only way we will ever get 20,000 again is through top division football.
Right so we are now down from Target 20,000 ... through Target 2,000 .... and now a realistic target is .... 200 I guess unless this whole top management structure goes ..... and yes that includes you Mr & Mrs Parkes!
If she seriously goes ahead with this she must be living in cloud cuckoo land. Surely no club has ever had such a deluded CEO?
THey can't sell the half year season tickets, so now they're giving them away. Also giving away match tickets and free hospitality for families of up to six. What I don't understand is how they can describe tickets to a Charlton game as a "pick-me-up" (unless you're an opposition fan). No free cuppa for the VIP season ticket holders- well they've already paid up, haven't they?
