Overall a solid performance. We are exactly in the table where I thought we would be ( ON THE EDGE OF A PLAYOFF PLACE) as the second half of the season kicks in. I think we are stronger then last year, but our goal threat still not at the level needed to guarantee that. Still onwards and upwards come on ye BOYS!
Well, whaddayouknow!? All our top 10 rivals draw or lose!! Our lucky day and we stay top 6! We clearly must sort out our customary 2nd half retreats and allowing teams to take the game to us. Bish and Bru will help here and bring the desparately need flair and creativity. But, give them their due, our defense and Gerks did stop them!
Accidentally caught the score when I was supposed to be avoiding it. Will watch the match when I get home later.
Fantastic away support today too, superb turn out, it was like a home match for us. (Nice that MK Dons sell alcohol to away fans, a lot of clubs don't.)
tbh gandy, a lovely stadium but what a ****ing soulless place it is, no identity, no history, no local rivals to speak of, someone pointed out about the older Dons fans, like, how did they happen? No pubs near the ground (we had to slum it in Bletchley Working Mens Club but that wasn't too bad...) 2800 odd Town fans belting out You're just a franchise, you shouldn't exist And the 'Delia is a Slapper' song and all it's verses had the MK stewards and bar staff in stitches at half time! Definitely a good day out!
