http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-35074290 A lovely story for Christmas. Some builders pulling down a chimney found a letter from a little boy to Father Christmas...they tracked him down and presented him (at the age of 78) with what he had asked for: a Rupert Annual, silk tie, crayons and soldiers. How great was that? Especially as on the back of his note was a letter from his uncle (now long gone) asking after little David.
These guys are from my home county of Berkshire so I am not in the least surprised by their warmth, their caring and their compassion.
I'm not really a fan. It feels like a plastic business hub in a construction site rather than a nice holiday destination, but some people like it.
If you haven't seen it, I would urge, no, I would get down on my knees and beg, anyone who loves great music and great musicians to go and see "Amy", the film about Amy Winehouse. A profoundly moving and sensitive portrayal of yes, a tortured soul, a vulnerable young woman, but, my god, what a genius. Yet another member of the "27" club, and a victim of her own success, and of trusting the wrong people. I was in bits by the end, even though I knew what was going to happen.
Yep.......loved it, Josh knew he would win by KO when he he waved his fist before knocking him out....he is defiantly one for the future world title.........preferably knocking Fury out to get it.
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/smartphon...ears---report-predicts-085820263.html#KBe20ty Smartphones may die out within 5 years suggests a report....perhaps I should just hold out for a bit longer My friend tried to talk me into getting one, but I noticed she was still using her old one for calls....much easier she said. Thought it was just her, but apparently lots of people have a phone for calls and a smart phone for the rest. No point in me having one then as I refuse to be one of those saddoes permanently connected to the ether and ignoring the world they are in. I'll just wait for the next fad.
