He wasn't talking extremes, we are at the top (end) and Bournemouth are at the bottom (end) of the table. Just like Liverpool are in the middle of the table

Few of the lads who went to Bosnia away were telling me about how **** it was basically police escort onto a bus then 1 hr travel with no beer. You really should try get over for a few of the games mate, the Euros are going to be spoiled as a concept with the cities hosting games rather than 1 country holding it all. It just isn't the same in my opinion, it'll be a lesser version of the Champions League with that format.

True, with the Russia part, I'll probably end up going if Wales do qualify because it won't happen often (this IS our 'golden generation') and it'll be such a culture shock IMO because they're all ****ed in the head. Its the beauty of following your country away though, seeing different cultures & people and just having a laugh.

Just want to clarify for those struggling.

As van Gaals first language is dutch and so confuses at and near.

To him near is good enough. Utd were near the top and bournemouth were near the bottom.

I hope this removes any confusion in thinking van Gaal is deluded or something.
