Proof of the **** sound system... I didn't even hear any music.

 

Presumably this will be on the agenda for the next meeting between fans and the club?

Anything further on the frightened fans in E5 yet, or still awaiting the OK to divulge details of the meeting?

 

So glad there's a thread on this I thought I'd dreamt the whole thing cos nobody would be stupid enough to play goal music at the KC

As you know I'm on the FWG and not middle class or middle aged. There are other young people and also a female on the group.

The club invited people onto the FWG, what was the point if we're going to be ignored? If the group wasn't representative of enough demographics I'm sure they'd say so and not just keep gathering us and then ignoring what we say.

And my original point wasn't even limited to the FWG. Goal music was a topic on sportstalk two or three years ago when someone at the club accidentally gave the impression it was being considered and the lines went into meltdown with people expressng their disdain for the idea. Nick Thompson quickly reassured people it wouldn't happen and that was the end of it.

 

I don't really understand the outrage over it, I could understand people not liking it, but the fury and backlash has been a bit over the top. Having to scroll through endless retweets from Amber Nectar from people claiming to have walked out of a match we were winning because they don't like music was a bit boring.

Fair enough. At a football match where a lot of chants involve swearing, I don't think class is really something that comes into it.

Fair enough, maybe it's a cultural thing, but I just don't see why there's such an outcry about it. I don't think people would care that much over here.

 

I must admit, it made me laugh. Not as funny as Mooney saying they can't ignore the views if the supporters - what a total knob he has turned out to be.
