    Match of the Day pundits describe Gus Poyet as the right fit for Swansea's style....

    Am I the only one who can't stand the media love of Poyet? I've seen him as manager of Brighton and Sunderland and at both clubs he made the teams horrible, niggly, defensive teams playing South American professionalism football.

    Horrible man. Horrible football. A fit for Swansea he is not in my opinion.

    The problem with sacking a manager because you are panicking (way too early in my opinion) is do you go for the manager that really suits who you are and who you want to be or do you go for a manager who will grind out the results you need. Be nice if it was the same person, but often it is not. I suppose the board at Swansea would say they have given the new manager enough time and they can go for a long term solution, but I think they were daft not to have someone in place already. I know there is this moral dilemma about looking whilst you still have a manager, but does that really hold in the modern business world. We tried it both ways....sacking Pardew with no one in place and sacking Adkins with MP already on the plane....the latter makes more sense. They've sacked Monk without a clear plan....if they'd waited whilst they looked, he may have had the time to confirm they were right or to show he could turn them round.
