Schneider Schneiderlin isn't fit, nor is Jones. They were on the bench because we have to have 18 players in the squad. Jones is further ahead as he played a short period in the u21s but lacks match fitness.

We cannot afford to risk more injuries, especially in defence. I wish they had played though, its easy for us to say.
So we have literally no other players who could sit on the bench and participate in the game in an emergency. I should start logging these excuses, some of them are so funny you couldn't make them up.

Or could you?

Bournemouth have a terrible injury list too. No excuses dulard <ok>
Not excuses from me you ****** just fackts <ok>

Did not deserve anything from this match. I am not an LVG fan but we must recognise that this was a reserve side. Even before the match no sane fan would have been confident <ok>

Yep the excuses were certainly flying in before the game. Showed faith in the manager there. Or perhaps the bravado and back slapping is just a veneer?

Not excuses pal, just looking at it realistically. The side is decimated, that's not up for debate.

We should have won today, even with the line up. Had we played all game like the first we may we have. But we literally b played with 7 today. Fellaini was out best player, Mata bar the defence, our worst. This doesn't help us? Carrick was ok but its those players we need to step up right now and they simply are not.

And how rubbish is John Terry on the analysis.

Well Leicester for the title maybe, although Ranieri might need 3 seasons to get them challenging for title and maybe spend about 600 million pounds before they can think about it.

Let's say they do, for arguments sake. When they get relegated the following year, what then? That's the difference between short term and long-term and why your United's, Barcelona's, Bayern's do things slowly.

Having met Mr Terry a couple of times I can assure you that he is a man of limited personality and totally unsuited to being a TV pundit.

Your 2nd paragraph contradicts your 1st. I agree, we should have won today. At 1-1 we definitely should have gone on to win despite our poor start.

This is a Bournemouth side who have only won ONCE at home all season before today. And they've played worse sides than the one we put out today.

Read between the lines and it means you don't have to spend £600 million pounds to say what a good manager I am, this is the last thing I will say about LVG tonight... he will not win a trophy with United over the 3 seasons he is contracted to, he has already said that the glory days are over and is getting his excuses in now.

It doesn't. I'm not making excuses, the injuries are real and the impact is obvious. It clearly has an effect.
