Jones has just returned from injury and probably isn't match fit. Daft to risk him considering we are short on defenders.
Since last season he's always carried a threat. Sure he's not silky and he looks clumsy but that's Fellaini. He's one kf Belgium's best players, on a side full of quality players.
This is the difference between possession without purpose and possession with purpose. Every spanish player knew the next pass they were going to make before they received the ball. And every player receiving the ball was expecting it. It was one touch passing (granted with a bit of showboating and lots of possession) with a purpose. Ours in contrast involves getting the ball, taking a touch, looking up, deciding where to pass, losing any tactical advantage and pace, and about 5 of our players wondering if the ball is coming to them.
See that run by the bournemouth lad? That is why Fellaini is not good enough. Bournemouth 2-1 Fellaini hero to zero
The Feelossofee doesn't allow players to come straight back into the team after injury as they don't have the match rhythm. Inexperienced players do have match rhythm apparently. It's decreed in the feelossofee so it must be true.
