so funny chaps, Armstrong talked on a mic from a silent craft as they landed on the moon, the rocket engine should have been creating about 150 db of sound in the craft, something you'd never hear voices over.

Just cant get around that fact, another one, just like 10000 pounds from just one of the engines, of thrust not disturbing 1 spec of dust on the moon as the lander "landed"

I only started looking into this really last week like, it's a ****ing joke <laugh>

The sound issue there is also no plausible explanation covering that just nonsense for idiots to grap so they can keep believing, pretty much like most of what ye posted. Sound should have been deafening in that craft on landing on the moon when the engine was ignited but there was complete silence, nonsense.

I dont know if they were there or not, the footage, all of it, is fake. You can see 2 ****ing wires pinging in light on more than one astronaut in footage for ****s sake <laugh>

I thought you said they couldn't have been there as radiation from van Allen belt would have killed them. Or do you now accept that is not true and they could travel to the moon and back safely?

    You're beyond help.

A half sensible crank would have run for the hills after completely embarrassing themselves with that absolute ****ing nonsense about the Van Allen belts and the supposed inability of man to survive crossing it in the Apollo missions. You were owned by the words of the man himself on that issue and yet you still come back calling people idiots when in fact it's you that's the ****ing idiot. A crank, whos knowledge is limited to the fellow crank nonsense he's chosen to expose himself to and take on as 'fact' when it's nothing more than idiotic nonsense with more holes than a Swiss cheese.

How the **** can you have the temerity to post that, when you spouted the nonsense that you did about the Van Allen belts?

You'd patently read on one of your crank sites, that the Apollo missions were a nonsense based on the supposed 'fact' that the astronauts couldn't pass through the Van Allen belts and survive.

Without checking further, you've taken this 'fact' as being definitive, and your 'research' began and ended there. You've then proceeded to call people idiots for believing anything other than this supposed definitive 'fact' that you've unearthed.

You've subsequently been completely owned on the issue and proven to be totally wrong in the assumption you've made, as you failed to check out the validity of the claim.

After having been downed, you're now saying people should 'think' about the facts they're regurgitating <laugh> oh irony of ironies,

Does that explain the embarrassing **** up you made about the Duke family photograph, and your complete inability to acknowledge it? Again to the batteries, from memory (though I will firm this up with numbers, should you wish) the backpack had 2, weighing @ 4lb each (divide by 6 to give lunar weight), producing 16v for 27 hours. They were recharcheable in the LM. In fact, in the film of Apollo 13 they were among the items they took power back from to power up the crippled CM for reentry. Are you saying that in the 60's, an age that give us Concorde, semiconductors, Bell's theorem, 20=odd years after the Manhattan Project, they couldn't design a battery to reliably produce 16v for 27 hours?

This recency arrogance argument is like the one that ancients couldn't have built Stonehenge and the pyramids. I was in Auckland a decade ago, and there's (or was) some exhibition ride on the waterfront simulating the breathtakingly hazardous journey that whole familes of Pacific islanders made from Hawaii to NZ on 50ft long rafts, a bit like Kontiki. I can only wonder at awe at how these people populated the vast expanses of the Pacific, from Australasia to the west coast of south America, and it makes me think of how many probably perished in the attempt, somewhat like today's Med migrants.

I was later that year in Whitby to see a replica of Endeavour, and the first thing that strikes you is how tiny it was. Didn't seem much bigger than a Mersey Ferry. I bet back in the 18thC there were pamphleteers, the then internet conspirators, conjecturing on how Cook could never have sailed past the Van Allen sea monsters in that tiny ship, where did he get enough food to last for two years?, the earth's flat anyway, and he must just sailed around the north sea for all that time, even though all the crew and the RN have never slip one word to support the conspiracy, and the French acknowledge he did go there.

I'll forever be the poster who knows too many facts, details and names about history and space travel, but doesn't know the 'lesson', which is evidently whatever Sis and the tinfoils want it to be. I think I'm having that in my signature.

'The truth is out there' - just don't let facts and details get in the way.

He's been totally embarrassed here, and yet he still thinks he's the enlightened one and we're all idiots for not seeing the 'truth' that him and his fellow internet Noddys have 'exposed'.

He's got a personality disorder imo.

You can clearly hear the engine thrusting in the background (even though both astronauts are wearing fully pressurised suits in the LM - you didn't take that into account, did you Sis?) when PDI is initiated 12 mins out and the engine is fully powered. It's at 10% (and then only in manual bursts) as they approach the surface. Note that you can continuously hear the noisy drone of the LM's environmental systems in the background; a feature many of the moonwalkers said preventing them sleeping during gaps between EVA's on later missions.

Look, I said bring it on and I think you've had every question answered and more that any reasonable person could listen to.

As with the 9/11 crap, there's nothing more to say.

Commander Donga has just successfully splashed down in the Ocean of Smug Righteousness. Signing off on this mission.

Perhaps it was Gerry Anderson that made the fake footage and not Stanley Kubrick after all?

If you watch you can clearly see a wire between the control stick and the ceiling. And Aldrin, for some reason dressed in a skirt, calls Armstrong 'Steve', and he then calls him 'Venus'! FFS! It's proof-positive that the Van Allen belts mutates cells enough to change your gender! And why's Mike Collins wearing a tin helmet? Is he one of us?

I think they should be called the Van Sisu Belts, henceforth.

FFS, don't ban him! He's pure entertainment. Like watching a chimp grapple with a Rubik's cube.

Sorry folks. He was in the keep net and I was going to put him in a case above the mantelpiece with Billy Big Bass... but he's just too wild and untameable to be kept in captivity. Swim free Sis, you crazy halibut.
