Haha. He's certainly frustrating as his touch, dribbling and passing are so poor. No where near as good as Pelle at centre forward. He's certainly not close to the worst striker in the Premier League though, that's a big over-reaction!
Yes, many. Was his goal at the Etihad recently an accident then? Just look at Cameron Jerome's miss today. I'm sure most Norwich fans would rather Long than Jerome in their side.
Of course not. Fonte and Van Dijk had a mare on the goal. Gazzaniga's quality performance deserved a clean sheet. One can't deny Koeman has rather lost the plot recently and is rather stubborn however. Hopefully we can beat Spurs and end this miserable run.
I don't mind if we lose giving it a proper go. But to have tadic sat on the bench whilst the clogger Yoshida hoofs it out of play time and again is difficult for me to stomach. We should have been more positive from the start, the 6-1 defeat has knocked Koeman's confidence in the team. We are at our best when we are positive and trying to control the game.
I was one that was asking for RK to sign a contract extension earlier on . Not so sure now , and no , this is not a knee jerk reaction .
You didn't notice Davis' header which required a brilliant save, or Romeu's shot straight at Hennesy, then.
One huge, massive positive out of today; I hope people will shut up the "Gazza's not good enough" tripe. People have been desperate to scapegoat him (who'd have thought?) yet every time I've seen him over the past couple of seasons he's been pretty much beyond reproach. He lost his confidence for a while when he was put under too much pressure too young but he's through it and is showing the class that was always there. He stops shots brilliantly, his distribution is excellent and he's moved on his area domination in leaps and bounds. He's a keeper. Vin
A save that on my stream the commentator described as "possibly the best save in the Premier League this season". Selective memory alert. Vin
Our attacking play has just been woeful. These last 5 games have just seemed to lack any desire from anyone in the team. Despite that, Gazzaniga's performance today was definitely a positive. A good young keeper in the making, huge improvement from some of the few appearances he made for us in the past seasons.
Genuine question - are our players fit enough? The last five games we have been run rings around. Is it just lack of mobility in the midfield? The only player that looks up for it is Davis.
Positives: Gazzaniga Negatives: Awful defending for their goal. Our attack atm couldn't even buy a goal, we would some how **** it up.
That's very much an overreaction. I'll give you that someone like Big Vic isn't what you might call a "naturally fit" player, but you seem to be asking for people to run around in a headless chicken sense? They're all up for it, and they're all fit, they just have very little confidence right now.
Oh, for heaven's sake. I've just remembered why I normally leave it 24 hours before coming on here after a game. Come on guys, tell us all why: we're always going to concede, never score, cause tidal waves and earthquakes. Vin
