From what I have seen so far we have tried to do that but are immediately 'closed down'.
We don't have the players capable of beating their man so the ball goes sideways or backwards.

The players are more than capable. Five straight wins, without conceding, prove that.

When we set off at pace the confidence to beat a man becomes apparent.

They need to apply themselves better from the off & show a little more desire when things aren't going their way.

If Meyler starts today there won't be any looking back,he's been the missing link apparently.

Followed by 2 straight losses with 1 goal for and 4 against.
We haven't had a recognized striker in the past 2 games either.

    A draw & two losses.

Chelsea have lost over half their league games this season, it doesn't mean they don't have the players capable of beating their man.

We, along with all other teams, are not going to win every game. We have players who are more than capable of beating a man the problem is that some players are lacking a little confidence, others could be lacking a little desire which is preventing them from displaying this attribute.

I see Diomande's on the bench.

****e team selection imho. What did Maguire do wrong to get dropped, why isn't Maloney starting, why only 1 striker?

Before we bollock Brucey for his team selection.. lets just remind ourselves that Hernandez is injured, Snodgrass is coming back from a massive injury, Maloney has been unwell & Diamonde has been out for a while too.. If we had Diamonde & Hernandez available im sure it would be those 2 upfront.

He's not really blessed with options is he... Hopefully we'll see stronger team selections in the next few games.

He's playing Diame, a CM, as a striker. Luer? Can't even get on the bench against the bottom of the league side. If I was him I'd be well pissed off.

Diame is an attacking midfielder, more than capable of playing behind the striker... its a 4-4-1-1 formation.

    It's essentially 4-5-1 isn't it, 4 defenders, 5 midfielders and a lone striker.

Are you in the UK? If so, use a Smartphone app. You just need some headphones.
