Would you take Poyet over Giggs?

Personally, I can see Giggs being able to attract players who might not otherwise consider a move to Swansea - much as Laudrup's football standing and pedigree attracted Pablo, Chico, Michu etc.

Additionally, he may be able to bring (albeit on loan) a winger and striker from United.

Currently, the team lacks pace, balance & desire. Hopefully, whoever comes in can rectify these issues.

Cant see that at all, they don't have strikers firing at the moment and with the number of long term injuries they have cant see them letting anyone of any quality go.

Have to agree, I just don't see Giggs as the man for us.

For the sake of staying in this league i would rather a more defensive minded coach right now. We dont have a decent enough striker to put away chances. More importantly we need to be made hard to beat as we are conceding far to easy atm. I dont think Giggs will be what we need right now.

Jorge Sampaoli And Unai Emery are the best of the bunch so far IMO

I understand where you are coming from.

I suppose it will depend who Giggsy brings in as his Number 2 - hopefully, a defensive coach who would complement his own skill set

Are we just fixated on Utd "big "names , why should we go through all the recent turmoil just to bring in someone with no previous experience as a manager

How many times has he set out a team to play ,
How many times has he given a team talk ,
How many times has he altered the tactics when the team are losing ,
How many times had had to give a motivational speech when the chips are down
How many times has he had to deal with truculent players
How many players has he recommended to the club potential new players
How many wins losses or draws can be attributed to him personally
How many post match interviews has he given
or the likes of Poyet who is like marmite , you either like or hate him , a divisive character who will split an already divided dressing room imo

How many times has he had to go into a transfer market and reasonably priced players, who we need to help keep us up.

Chile's very successful manager Jorge Sampaoli has handed in his resignation, according to ADN Radio. Sampaoli is said to be unhappy that a number of agreements he had with the Chilean football association have been broken, and subsequently he doesn't feel he can continue in charge of the country.

Sampaoli has been with Chile since 2012 and done very well with the country. Chile won the Copa America this year in a home tournament, and as such there'll be huge disappointment at the manager's exit.

There will be no shortage of takers for Sampaoli and the Argentine may well be wanted by his own country, who haven't completely clicked under Tata Martino.

Swansea City are of course another option and Sampaoli's odds are tumbling. He's now the second favourite behind, surely unlikely, former Sunderland manager Gus Poyet. The resignation is only going to see odds tumble further as Swansea look to replace Garry Monk.

Another twist: Despite it being reported throughout Chile that Sampaoli had resigned, and even articles on the aftermath and reasons for his decision - he's now said he hasn't resigned.

I think the ManU manager will go in a van and Giggsy will be driving before the next game .
Out of Champions League , this loss and having go at the fans is to much all at once .
