I was using my noggin though. Tonight, I'm off to my mate's Christmas party in the toon and I'm taking him to watch the Fratellis and Slaves....not the wife Got meself some Brownie Points taking her to the Simply Red concert
Method behind the madness i like that. Ive been using a similar ploy for the last 9 days while my gaffer had been away up north getting a job finished. An ulterior motive why things have gone well while he.s away.
The Carling Academy is a cracking venue and cheap as well, so I'm going to investigate what else they have on in the coming months. I've been to Sunderland Uni twice this year, a good venue but they don't have enough gigs on. By Tuesday, i'll have been to eight gigs this year. The wife thinks i'm a teenager again. Any shows you could go to over there?
They get the odd decent ones. Usually its croaks after their last payday. Anyone decent sells out in hours Id love for acdc. Metallica. Placebo. Muse. And my strange choices slipknot and rammstein to play.
I'm in the 'seats' in the balcony. Good, because I think I might have a heart attack down in the mosh pit
Mosh pit. We used to call it the wreckin pit. Mainly cos of bands like the meteors and the wreckin crew. You may like thrm. Check em out.
Simple Minds.. Way better than U2 circa 1985.. This song is worth a listen to.. Photographed the Proclaimers in our Edinburgh studios in 1989..great days..
Old school psychobilly. Pick being guanabatz. But then the likes of krewmen. Torment etc. Bit more rockabilly. Restless
I like a bit of rockabilly, so psychobilly should be damn fine as well. Went to watch a rockabilly group a few months ago.....singer took a shine to me
I saw U2 way back in 1983 at the City Hall in Newcastle. I'm sure the Alarm supported them. Can't recall though, I was pished.
