    Ive been using a similar ploy for the last 9 days while my gaffer had been away up north getting a job finished.

    An ulterior motive why things have gone well while he.s away.

    The Carling Academy is a cracking venue and cheap as well, so I'm going to investigate what else they have on in the coming months. I've been to Sunderland Uni twice this year, a good venue but they don't have enough gigs on.

    By Tuesday, i'll have been to eight gigs this year. The wife thinks i'm a teenager again.

    Any shows you could go to over there?

    Mainly cos of bands like the meteors and the wreckin crew.

    I like a bit of rockabilly, so psychobilly should be damn fine as well. Went to watch a rockabilly group a few months ago.....singer took a shine to me :emoticon-0152-heart

    I saw U2 way back in 1983 at the City Hall in Newcastle.

    I'm sure the Alarm supported them. Can't recall though, I was pished.
