All I got from that is the interviewer is grilling Mane , and Mane can barely reply because of the lingo . FFS . Give the lad a break !
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/arti...w-pre-crystal-palace-southampton-2847336.aspx Pardew says that Saints are a team that Palace should aspire to....strange that Saints have selected that line from AP's interview and relegated the comment that we miss Schneiderlin to the bottom of the article.
I just hope Ron puts his trust in Cedric, to deal with good, quick attacking wide players. The only way he will improve is by playing against the best, and not by Ron deciding Yoshida is a better defender, then playing him out of position.
Yoshida simply doesn't have the pace to play full back at this level to the standard we desire. If Yoshida starts tomorrow at full back then Koeman is a stubborn fool as far as I'm concerned. He really should not throw Yoshida in the deep end at right back against a pacey side like Palace.
We are going to struggle no matter what side we put out. I can't see us winning this one the way Koeman picks his sides, in fact I'm expecting us to lose. That's very rare for me. Funnily enough when I expect us to lose after a bad run, we usually win. So let's see what happens.. My team: -------------Pelle -------------Mane Tadic-------------------Davis -------Romeu Wanyama Bertrand VVD Fonte Cedric ---------------Stek Think we have a decent chance if he puts the above side out. If he puts this side out then you can disregard what's written above it.
We've beaten Palace in the last seven league meetings and they've never beaten us in the Premier League (8 wins, 4 draws). Cheer up, folks! *runs for cover and hopes those statistics aren't shattered later on*
Hopefully it will be postponed so that by the time the rearranged game is played we MAY be in better form....just very hopeful thinking I know
Stranger things have happened. I used to travel to my team's games by coach, but because I lived an hour or so away from the team and most the players, I'd usually meet them at Newbury services or somewhere similar. Anyway, one day we were away to Forest Green Rovers and I met them at Membury Services in the M4. I'd asked them to save me a horse for the grand national sweepstake, which they duly forgot. When I got on the coach to find that they hadn't, I said "Right then, I'll have no winner".... That was the year that the race was abondoned!!!
I'm actually strangely confident for this one. Palace are better away than at home. We've been better away than at home this season as well.
Love the lamb. Lambie. Is that bet you lost still ongoing. I note you have 'needs a cold shower' written under said lamb. Or have you lost the will to rewrite it?
