Yep, fine by me. When I was typing it out I nearly put Southampton Airport, but I thought some people might say that it was Eastleigh Airport. Can't please everybody. The last time I looked properly it was called Southampton Airport [Eastleigh].
Americans seem to want to revere their politicians...I put it down to a lack of a Queen. Much better to have a head of state outside of politics. I was trying to imagine if Trump was a politician here...he would certainly lose the crowd. People may agree about some if his ideas in principle....limiting immigration etc...but would soon back away from his extreme racist views. He'd be left with a bunch of skinheads here...which in a way is what fundamentalist Americans with a love of guns are equivalent to.
I am starting a campaign for it to be called Benny Hill Airport. That should stop all the controversy about its name.
A niece's son has a hover board and I got the chance to have a go on it recently. Initially, it was a huge learning curve, but after a minute or two it became very easy indeed. It's basically a tiny Segway without the steady bars. IIRC, it can go something like 12 miles or more on one full charge, which is quite impressive.
A 15-yr-old has died after colliding with a bus, whilst riding a hoverboard. The same danger as skateboards can be. I don't know where you are supposed to use them as they are banned from roads and pavements...that only leaves skate parks and private land.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-18770328 Dare you look? Where are you on the fat scale based on BMI. Won't be any good for you athletes out there EDIT: I am most like someone from Papua New Guinea. Not sure what to make of that.
I am most like women in Vanuatu The women there must be gorgeous. I'm glad they let you use proper measurements....never been able to work it out in kilos.
Something occurred to me. "There's always someone worse off than you". True for everyone, except for one person, somewhere. I wonder how they are getting on? Discuss. Vin
I have often protested when people say that to someone suffering....as if you can only feel sorry for yourself if you have no one worse off than yourself.

https://uk.style.yahoo.com/post/134978728389/damien-hirsts-drugged-christmas-tree-stirs-up Damien Hirst decorates a Xmas tree with images of pills and syringes...who in their right mind would ask Hirst to decorate a Xmas tree? And the 'sausages' do not represent Xmas plenty (as suggested by the writer of the article) but rather the smuggling of swallowed drugs by mules.
BMI 23 - Comoros (obviously an imaginary world cos I've never heard of it!) So what's the ideal BMI? and what has your age got to do with it? I've found that drinking strong alcohol, smoking and eating take-aways can fool this BMI thing into thinking you're healthy!
Up to 25 is top normal. Only a guide because other factors affect how healthy you are. I think it should be used only for normally active people....makes no sense for some athletes.
In Serbian pet shops you can buy doggie treats of dried pigs ears, cows tendons and sheeps throats. (maybe you can in the UK? I don't know) If I decorate a Christmas tree with those, would I win a prize? (my golden retriever loves pigs ears!)
