Watford drink in the Paradise/Victory?

Me and my son are up for the Watford match which, as you know, is our last home game before Christmas.

Looks like we'll be driving straight back to Mansfield but we'll be able to meet up for a few before the game.

Incidentally we call it The Paradise because of a story that was probably only funny at the time.

I was getting all daft, after a few too many, and waffling about how the place was a paradise, "5 minutes walk to the ground, Scotch on draught and ham & pease pudding stotties."

My son said, "Yeah but it's always boiling hot in here."

"Ok then, it's a tropical paradise!" ....... that's what we've called it ever since.

 

As The Four Tops would say . . . . I'll be there

. . . . but not to love and comfort you

This is the last match before the fat bastard comes and leaves deposits aal ower, so let us know if anybody else fancies some in Paradise (The Victory)

some times go to colliery tavern but will see what safc 83 is doing Ie how he is getting to match.we will get to Sunderland about 1345 may have time to go to vic.
The roker vic was allways my watering hole before off to roker park

I'm jealous! Firstly because you're all going to the game and secondly because I would like to meet up with some of the fellas on here.
