    To be fair the only other option was Origi. Need a quality striker in January to tie us over until Ings is fit again.

    No chance of getting one. Sturridge, Ings, Origi, Benteke, Mario and even Firmino on the books as players who Klopp could play in that striker role. Injuries aside, he needs to cut some before the club'll buy someone else. Maybe a loan?

    Loan someone for 6 months then...

    Or sell one or two of the surplus. As big a fan of Sturridge as I am (great footballer and nice guy) he needs to go if we can sell him. Mario needs to go too.

    Benteke, Origi, and Firmino are owed at least until summer to prove themselves but at this point in time I wouldn't cry if I was told we would sell one or more of them in the summer to buy a quality forward. (assuming they didn't improve).
