Agree with Chris. Finishing top is important given the quality top seeds left in this competition plus the CL teams.

There are a lot of good teams in EL. Could be quite exciting!

I agree. the quality of the europa league comes alive after the groups and to actually go further in it getting the best draw is useful

Valencia, Man Utd, sevilla, porto, leverkusen, shaktar, galatasary, olympiakos. have all joined this comp that has.....
LFC, dortmund (ajax not sure), napoli, villareal, marseille, lazio, bekistas,, shalke, bilbao, basel and fiorentina and some small club called monaco and an even smaller spurs.

Now.... LFC fans will think LFC can win it.. thats a good thing but tempering the big club mentality with realism what this says is this comp is disgracefully written off as a hassle in england as people don't win enough prize money but the REALITY is....

there's 3 italian clubs in this. 3 english now. we HAVE to do as well as the italians do to maintain englands coefficient. Right now in CL there are 2 italians and 3 english clubs.

We can expect arsneal to have a **** draw and go out i reckon... theres 3 out of 8 i think they can beat.
City and cheslea might get to QFs

Juve can go to the semis this year again. if the italians get 4 points more than us 4th place trophy is gone lads.

LFC NEED to win tonight. it gives us a slightly higher club coefficient and allows us to maybe get an easier draw (though i think it'll be highly competitive i nthe round of 32.

  3. A win would give us two more coefficient points too

  4. I'd be miles ahead <whistle>

Surely it should be average rather than an accumulation? Otherwise, someone could just hog loads and be top.

That would be funny though as people would be trying really hard to get their thread done quickley for teams like Sion. <whistle>

It would have to be first thread posted after the last match finishes, all other threads would have to be merged.

sounds fun. its not like you lot put ANY effort in.(or need to par se)

I can do the rules as i said i'd never do one after not being backed <whistle>

    Proposal 1:

    1. must be posted AFTER final whistle of prior game.

    2. must have three basic items: match day thread as prefix. propoer game title in title, date of match, location and time in the thread.

    3. you may post one or not post one depedning on how you think lfc will do in a game. ie. if you think we lose you won't post i suppose.

    Proposal 2.:

    1. draw up entry list.

    2. randomly select order of running.

    3. assign matches to each person in order.

coudl be a fun thing to see who's the luckiest

  7. I'd have game threads ready and waiting so they could be posted immediately upon the final whistle of the previous game :)

If we can't beat Sion we don't deserve ANYTHING.

When the draw came out we were all like 'who the **** are Sion?'

I knew who Sion were, it's what Toyota calls the cars that it is too embarrassed to admit they made.

I just didn't know they had a football team.
