    Charlton Athletic v Leeds Utd

    Saturday 12th December at 3pm

    Streaming links to follow
Leeds make the long trip this down to the Valley this weekend to play an erratic Charlton Althletic.

Back to back losses against Brighton and Ipswich have found the Addicts in the relegation zone, though before this had recorded victories away at Brum and at home against the Wendies.

What team is going to turn up on Saturday?

Leeds fortunes are little different. We beat Hull, but lose to Rotherham.

    Don't you just love football...

Evans must decided whether to recall fit again Bamba or keep with the defensive pairing of Bellusci and Cooper.

Berardi is available for selection having served a two match suspension for getting sent off against Rotherham, so all in all our back four look strong. Agree?

Bridcutt should keep his place in the team playing the anchor role.

Let's hope that we can put a run together. It's surprising what four wins on the trot would do to the league table.

Morning Matt and co from a damp and miserable Westmeath. See what I did there Mike? Charlton are erratic but are still a capable Championship team. Guarantee the wallies won't beat them this season. Agree with the four wins in a row thing but don't think this team has a run like that in their locker. If we managed a couple of Bridcutt type signings in January, who knows. Evans made a good point yesterday about trying to force Cellinos hand in January by winning a few this month. He might back him if we're within touching distance of playoffs but if we're only safe in mid table, with no chance of play offs, it's unlikely he'll throw millions at the project for signings. Wouldn't make any sense

Guaranteed the Wallies won't play them this season...

If we win 3 out of next four, we will be top half of the table.

Good morning to Eire Matt etc from a very wet Bardsey where I believe we may have flooding down in Collingham some 1 mile away
Beradi must play in place of Wootton and Bamba IN place of Belusci
In answer to WJ list which I thought was excellent apart from 2 things
1 Bianchi I have never been thrilled with him .Seems to be wayward with his shooting I believe he has never score for the first team .We need goals from midfield
2.Wootton saw him play as a CB against Doncaster and he was is usual useless self giving away a clumsy penaltyand allowing them into the game .The sooner he goes the better for me we were sold a pup by MU
I would drop Mowatt and play either Botaka or Erwin or just for WJ and co Bianci

Morning all, as you pointed out Elland, beat the top team lose to the bottom, you just never know which Leeds team will turn up on the day. At our best we look very decent but not promotion material, at our worst we do look relegation fodder.

I wish we knew Cellinos plans, if they were to sell up if we finish mid table or lower then that's where I want us to finish. We don't travel that well to Charlton so I'm going for a draw.

I think Wooton was player has a defensive mid in front of the back four. I think this is why he had such a bad game.
Have we ever seen him play in his first choice position, centre back? He always seems to be played at rb or midfield like against Doncaster.

    Hey'up 60,

Slight difference of opinion for me,

Agree Berardi will probably be back, unless Evans decides not to change a winning team.

1, Bianchi is a level headed midfielder who is good at breaking up opposing attacks, good passer of ball and mucks in in defence, Redders kept playing him out of position last season just to accommodate his academy players, he is, by his own admission more of an attacking mid. I'd like to see Evans put him in that position to see how he goes; we can certainly do with his through passing to the striker/s. Bianchi's stats were way in front of any of our mids last season, even before season was half over.

    2, Wootton, nuff said.

3, Mowatt has lost a lot of form, his abilities, if any, seem to have gone on holidays somewhere and he can't find out where. I agree he should be dropped for mainly Botaka if Berardi is picked, in the games I've seen, Berardi and Botaka seem to link up well with their passing.

Leeds by 2 goals for me, only if we maintain the Hull form, Antenucci to start ahead of Wood..........oh hey'up Jock, didn't see you standing there..:emoticon-0105-wink:

I just hope the italian justice system have plans for cellino and stop pissing about.
Get the tral over and if guilty get a sentence handed out on the day of the verdict. How hard can it be?
